SAT II US vs. AP exam

so i am taking the sat subject tests in october, specifically the u.s. test. I scored a 5 on the AP exam, but that was in May right after the course and additional studying. I am wondering if i should expect a 700+ on the test because hey, i did get a 5. the problem is it's gonna be october and i havn't let my mind think about u.s. history since May. do you guys know what the curve would be like? i mean, i assume nobody else remembers us history that well, unless they studied alot. i guess my question is will the curve be ridiculous, assuming that other test takers don't score as high as they would have immediately after the high school course? idk. i am just curious, because i need to score above a 700.

The curve isn't set based on how the people do on that test day. Actually, the curve is set based on how people do on the questions of known difficulty. It's actually possible for every person to get an 800.

And people have gotten 600s with a 5 on the AP.

for some reason i thought is was based on a bell cureve, well only x percentage of people would get an 800 let's say. thanks for clearing it up.
