October SAT Math

i thought the last question was saying square root of n must be an interger so i skipped that one lol

instead of 20 for the 3 circles i changed it to 16 + 4(squareroot something)

faaaaawk. WHY.

wasn't one of the combos like 15 or 16? i just wrote them all out and counted. really easy (if i got it right)

i put 62. was it 64 or 62?

also, the distance for the graph was 80, not 20, yes??

did you guys get -3 for one??

wait so it was 64? YESSSSSSSSS. but maybe not.

braindead2400, hm i got 20 on the 3 circles because i used common sense to estimate the length of BC(thats the top base of the trap), it was already 16(counting the sides), then u add the top part, which is 4ish; however,i wasnt sure, but because this was not a hard prob, considering it was only like #13ish, i marked 20 and moved on, 22 is too much.

It is 62.... 99-37 = 62....

9.9999999^2-6.0000001^2=64 trust me :)

exactly.
sqrt of 99 and sqrt of 37 fit the thingy.
99-37 is 62 o_O

it said integer.
What grade are you in?

the largest under 100 is 99
the smallest above 36 is 37.

-_-
It's not the wrong answers that annoy me, its you sticking to the wrong answers after I've proven you wrong.

WOW. Can't believe i missed that one.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's 62...

this isn't calulus - there's no limit

ahhh i thought the question was saying n square root must be an interger so i did 81 -49 which gave me 32... so i skipped it
i was going to guess 62.... should have done that

do you remember if 22 was an answer choice b/c i think i did 8 +4+4+4 which is 20...so i dont know if i made a careless mistake or nottt

LOL, now that does ring a bell,i dont remember the exact answer, but i do remember using INTEGERS. 99-30something
koreajbpark, 5 omit ,and 0 wrong, =700-710

Any more hard math questions? I want to confirm my 800.
-really anxious-

My bad timmy boy.

How come no one can show the reasoning behind the answer for the three circles and trapezoid?

i thought the trapezoid perimeter one was 16+4(sq root of 2) because you add the sides then the height was 4 which was like x(sq root of 2)..right?

and then what was the question for 1/25?? i kind of remember that one but i don't remember what it asked

lastly...what was the question for the answer being 32?

2-3 wrong, 2-3 omit? can i get a range?

1/25 was the one with a square root of n ^k = 5 and 1/n^k .... something like that

I did the same thing koreajbpark but it was the only question left and I had 5 minutes to work with so I read the question carefully and figured it out.

For a few seconds though it was like the world was coming to an end.
