haha, maybe im just crazy, but im glad 22 wasn't an answer choice, phew

How Can You Tell That The Chord In The Three Circle Problem Was 4?

http://i36.tinypic.com/10nfexg.jpg

see how those make equal triangles?
only a equal triangle could fit between those.
because the long bottom is flat (180 degrees)
and since they are equal, the triangles all have 60 degree angles.

duh?

22 is actual an answer to one of the trapezoid figures. however,i believe everyone is mistaken, not wrong, because there was a trapezoid figure(left and right side right triangles, giving hyp=5, and a rect in middle, leng 8), it asks u to find the perim of the rect, , the given perimeter of the trap was 34, so 3-4-5 triangle, 3+8 =l + w, answer 22

To Bostonhotti, 1/25 was for the 1 divided by a raised to n question. And 32 was not the answer to a question. It was 62.

Pretty sure it was 20 not 22

wait, so 22 was an answer??!??

22 was the correct answer to a question, but it wasnt the trapezoid one.

what can i expect scorewise with one wrong grid in and one mult choice wrong, all others right

Krazy-

The figure never said it wasn't drawn to scale. Measure with the edge of your paper.

oh yeah!
it was two circles
and it asked you the perimeter of a rectangle.
3+3+8+8

you should have known the 3-4-5 triangle.

dang ren, u scared me. I thought you said the answer to the three circle thing was 22, which freaked me out.

tehe, still hoping for that 800!

ok, good good, so there was a 22 and a 20...saved me, thnx ;]

the 1/25 one, i thought it was just asking for n, so i just wrote 25. cause wasn't it 1/n or something?

confused.

errr.

20 is the answer to the 3 circles ,using radius to form a trapezoid.
22 is the answer to the perimeter.. (3+8) x 2 = 22

what can i expect scorewise with one wrong grid in and one mult choice wrong, all others right?

I remember now - the trapezoid was composed of three equilateral triangles - they gave the angle as 60 degrees

what can i expect scorewise with one wrong grid in and one mult choice wrong, all others right????????

25 is wrong. its .04 or 1/25

it was
[sqrt(n)]^k = 5
lets say n was 25
and k was 1

that makes the equation true.

plug in and you get 1/25

To jelabidin, a 750 or 760.
