October SAT Math

Why is it 62 and not 64?

does anyone remember one where it was like a triangle and then they drew arcs from points on the triangle and wanted to know the lenght of the arc?
it was the last question in one of the sections.

the last grid-in was 34 (if I remember correctly) correct? Also, why wasn't there a discussion embargo put in place after this sat?

alamode, i think you are thinking about the area of the shaded region triangle question

am i right?

i forgot the answer tho...

circles and trapazoid..

alamode: I took the area of the 60 degree arc and then subtracted it from the area of the triangle, b/c they wanted the area of the part that was inside the triangle but outside the arc.

don't remember them asking the length of the arc tho, but I remember it asked for the shaded area.

no strange, there was no shading
i had one with a shaded triangle too
but this one was the last question in a section and it wanted the elgnth of the arc

It was 62 because n could range from 37 to 99. 99-37=62

do u think it was experimental?

Did it say n was an integer for the 62 one? Dammit. Did anyone not have this question? was it experimental?

jjjj, you are right. at least, that's what i got.

and i'm pretty sure they will do it soon

2 questions:

For the inequality one what did you put (#18)
(2X/Something>3) The answer was...

Other one from the last math section (16 questions) what did you put for the perpendicular line one.

Yes and no.

Please tell me the answer for the one with 3 circles and a trapazoid...

for the perpendicular line the answer was none

CIRCLES and trapezoid one was 20 i believe

I had 16*sq root something, d or e I believe for trapazoid one, and how was it 20?

yeah strange foo I agree

moonnite, you're wrong.

how about the inequality one?
