October SAT Math

somehow i don't remember that question.....argh

^ yup, answer to that one was 13 though.

5^2000(1+5^2) 26 --- 2x13 13 = other prime factor

well there must be more than one experimental section, cause i got 4 maths and still didn't get that question, my last math question was the area of the shaded region for one, the square root 62 answer for another, 34 as a on the grid in, and hmmm i forgot the last one. and it could be the rope 10pi for the last one.

1/4 <x<1/2 was the choice D??? anyone?? omg what was the choice E? I knew that first two choices were negative and they were wrong.

Yes 1/4<x<1/2 is choice D.

Zenbadabing, if you are 100% certain, I thank you very very very much. :)

today i had a dream... i got a perfect score on the sat and nyu gave me a full scholarship.. wow it was sweet... until i woke up -.-

ill be lucky to get a 1900 tbh, i stink at sat

Im 100% sure its D. I checked over that letter for over 5 min.

someone refresh my memory on the pentagon problem please!!!

For that question with how many teams can be made of 33 with teams of two or more, apparently it said that all teams had to have the same number of people, but I don't remember reading that at all so I put 16, but apparently the answer is 11?!

The answer is 11. It said that the teams can be 2 or more, all the students had to be on a team, and each team had the SAME number of students. Thus 11 is the only possible answer with 3 kids per team.

For the problem f(-x) = -f(x), was there only one answer that had x^3 in it? I need to know if I got it right or not.

Damn, did it really say same number of students because I honestly don't remember that at all. You remember if it was towards the beginning of the section or end?

And Also that question with the squares with the angles, I put b=k, but I wasn't sure.

^ yes, it had to be the same # of students. I actually messed that one up and caught the right answer, thank goodness.

There were more than one answer choies with x^3 in them, btw. But the correct choice was E, x^3 + x

frick. pentagon question. someone

Jec x^3 is correct. I believe it was E.

which pentagon question, i may be able to help.

what was this pentagon question?

Pentagon question was experimental. I dont recall any q dealing with pentagons.
