OCU MT class of 2022

@txmtmom2022 nothing yet for us. Auditioned for MT/VP on Feb 3rd.

I heard some rejections went out

@txmtmom2022 nothing for us yet. Our D getting very anxious!

we have not either, but we heard someone got a No email today. Very nervous here too.

BTW I was wrong, the person did not hear a NO. Anyone have any updates? OCU goes on SB tomorrow.

I called my daughter’s admission counselor today, and she told me that they were late in getting information out. She also told me, after checking my daughter’s file/portal, that it would be next week before we would hear anything because the admission and scholarship information would be sent in the form of a letter via snail mail. Then, lo and behold, my daughter got an email today that announced she had been accepted as a VP, MT, and music composition major and was awarded a scholarship. The scholarship letter was attached to the email. In other words, If you don’t receive any word today, maybe soon? Her counselor told me that they were trying to get everything posted by the end of hte week. I think they are sending acceptance/scholarship letters in batches? I hope that helps!

Also FYI, in case anyone is wondering, my daughter’s portal, which we have been checking religiously, has not been updated with her acceptance and scholarship info so I am afraid that will not help anyone get to the information sooner. :frowning:

I wanted to see if there were several redirects from the OCU MT auditions. My d redirected to BFA Acting. Any others? Anyone redirected to MP and if so what is voice type. Thanks!!

@M2twins our D was redirected to MP Mezzo-Soprano or Alto cannot remember exactly!

@ohiomtgirl22 or @M2twins What is MP? Is that music performance? And if so, how is that different from vocal performance? Just curious…

Oh sorry, yes VP voice performance

We didn’t hear until April 11 last year so HANG in there!!

Anyone received results from the March 3rd audition?
