Hi, i am a senior in high school and my dream school are ucla and usc. i was wondering if anyone could define specific details about my application that boost my odds at all. my freshmen and sophomore year i attended a private catholic school where i was a vanity men swimming athlete both years, state champion, and “Rookie of the Year”. although my athletic achievement has been great, my grades these 2 years were about a 3.3 overall. though not terrible, they are not as strong as my competitors. my junior year i transferred to a public high school and had a 4.00 gpa overall. this year as a senior i expect to get a 4.16 both semesters. will usc and ucla take this into consideration? also, i have some very notable achievements besides my swimming career that extend outside of the classroom, and that i was wondering if they gave me any sort of competitive edge… i am a Ford model, one of the most presigues talent agency al over the world. i am a photographer, who has taught peers the art of photography, and was a finalist in many photography competitions. i founded and created my own company, which is to develop the market of pet tracking, donating a percentage of income to animal foundations. i have done 100+ hours of community service for a wide variety of charities. i am an out-of-state applicant. my act score is a 27. i was wondering if these colleges will look at my junior/senior year grades increase and is they will admire my extracurricular work.
thanks,
Marc

Plan to swim in college?
USC will take 1st semester Senior grades into consideration for admission purposes, UCLA will not.
ACT score is way below the 25th percentile for both schools. Odds are low based on stats, unless you are a recruited athlete.
