#of Sat 2's..HELP!

I am a rising 10th grader and I was wondering how many Sat2s are considered good. I think I can take 6-9 but some people say that taking too many is bad b/c it makes me seem not "authentic" and make me look like a preparation freak. So is it...

a) As many as possible
b) 6+
c) 4-6
d) 3-4
e) 1-3

Please tell me reason :P.... Btw, I want to go to an IVY school.

I wish people here weren't so concerned about looking perfect. OMG, if I take 3 I'll look fine, but maybe I shouldn't take 5 because that'll look suspicious. I mean, all this worry is both unhealthy and ridiculous.

The maximum number of required SAT Subject Tests is 3, I think. Princeton, for instance, requires 3. You have to check with the individual schools, unless someone here knows, but I don't know off the top of my head because I never applied to any Ivy Leagues (because I don't want to go to any Ivy Leagues). Unless you enjoy taking SAT Subject Tests, there's no point in taking more than you have to. Even if you took 8 SAT Subject Tests, which is a complete waste of time and money, colleges will probably only look at your 3 best scores. They won't care what you got on the rest.

Take 3. 3 is the most you'll need at any school in the country.
