Taking too many SAT Subject Tests?

Would it look bad to have more than 2-4 SAT II's? I'm talking like 6-8.

On one hand it shows your ability in different areas (assuming the scores are good) but it also signals that you're a test-taking freak, which is bad.

What do you think?

I wasn’t aware of this, but apparently a lot of Ivy-prospective students take around that many tests in order to show off their skills and whatnot. If you get 700+ on all of them, it can only look good… but I personally think it looks really obsessive. I think 5 would be an impressive enough number, especially if you get 750+ or 800s on them.
