<p>I have a dilemma here...</p>
<p>I put undecided for my "Future Plans" in the Common App so should I leave this question unanswered in the supplement as well?</p>
<p>I really am very unsure of what I want to major in and I don't want to put "Engineering" (or anything else, for that matter) just to check a box.</p>

<p>I don’t think it matters very much. But if there’s an option there on the list that coincides with your current interests, why pass on the opportunity to show something more about yourself?</p>
<p>I would put engineering or social studies but my interests for those are not supported by my ECs… and I also don’t even know if I have a real interest in those anyway. :(</p>

<p>Many people just answer plainly – and that includes “undecided”. You’re over thinking this.</p>
<p>^I don’t think “Undecided” is an option on the Harvard Supplement, though.</p>
