I asked a similar question once, but it was about how many percent Williams graduates got accepted into a med. school.
I am interested to know HOW MANY STUDENTS from Williams last year (or the most recent stat. you have) actually applied to med. school? And then how many got in?
I am just wondering if there is a certain amount of Williams students who tend to go to Med. school after graduation, for I heard most graduates from Williams tend to go toward the law or business direction.

Medical school is not quite as difficult to get into as most people would have you believe. Medicine has lost some of its sex-appeal since lawyers and business people now routinely earn more money. Unless you have lousy grades, lousy MCAT scores, or a lousy personality, you will get into medical school. Don't get me wrong. These people do exist at Williams, but they are few and far-between.

"In a typical year, sixty Williams students apply to medical school, two to veterinary schools, zero or one to dentistry, a few to schools of public health, and perhaps a few more to all other fields combined." With the information you received previously on the percentages of Williams students who are accepted, you can do the math.
