Off-Campus Apartments!

I'm trying to find a 1 bedroom apartment within walking distance of campus and is relatively safe. Money is not an issue. Has anyone recently gotten good apartments somewhere close to campus?

My cousin told me her friend who is transferring is having difficulty finding a safe, close apartment and was wondering if anyone else knows if places still with apartments!

San Gabriel Square

yeah san gabriel square or just get out there and find those little less known apartment complexes and i bet you can find a good deal.

Okay, thanks for the input :)

I just read reviews on San Gabriel and some were REALLY bad and some were good. Have you lived here before? Experiences?

One of my friends lived at San Gabriel Square, and said it was horrible. I’ve been there before, and the complex looks like some sort of run down motel.

^ His review is the really long one.

Hmm. No I haven’t. but there’s gotta be a complex of a smaller size and better quality out in w campus!

azn- Thanks a lot.

Any more input, please throw an apartment complex out there!

Call 512 Realty or go there in person (it’s right behind the Whataburger on Guadalupe and 28th). The agents are great and they’ll help you a ton! I know they definitely still have some studios and 1 bedroom/1 bath places that they can hook you up with! And the realtors around campus are free so at least that’s good! I’d probably call first though and set up an appointment

Pretty close and they are fairly new and pretty:)

My son just rented a 1 bedroom in the Hyde Park area, which is walking distance. I think its a 512 property – Coventry.

Look into condos like Orange Tree and Centennial. I lived at Orange Tree this past year and it was great. Nothing really to complain about except for the occasional J26 stuff. I will be living at Centennial this upcoming year, which is as about as closest you can get to campus.

Thank you so much!! Have ya’ll heard about The Quarters and if that’s a good place to live at?
