Off Campus Apartments

I am going to transfer to USC this Fall, and I applied for the off-campus apartments. On the USC housing site, it tells me a monthly rate for the off-campus apartments, but I was wondering how many months would I be paying in one year: Fall and Spring semesters?

If it is a Conquest Apartment it's August through, and including, June.

If you are talking about century or cardinal and the like, they follow the same schedule as dorms, with the exception that you don't have to go home over christmas break : move in mid-august, move out mid-may.

So would I technically be paying for 9 months of rent in one year?

Also, if I am going back home on winter break, would I be able to pay partial or no rent for December?

delete delete

No. You would not be able to skip December rent. This would be the case no matter where you were renting.

Plus, as i remember for century, rent was billed to your tuition by semester, not by month anyways.
