Hey guys,
I’m a transfer student for fall at Temple. I’m gonna be staying in off campus housing. I looked at a couple of places and am considering The Edge village. Does anyone know if this is a good or bad option for housing?
Hey guys,
I’m a transfer student for fall at Temple. I’m gonna be staying in off campus housing. I looked at a couple of places and am considering The Edge village. Does anyone know if this is a good or bad option for housing?
i think there have been internet issues, it is very close to campus and in safe area.
Oh ok is it clean?
i have not heard anything bad about it other than internet issues so i am guessing it is clean, i will ask soem other parents to see if they know more, i seem to think you may have to pay untilites on top of rent so be careful with that. some of the other places in area have all inclusive rent that covers everything
http://housing.temple.edu/resources-and-services/campus-services hoefully, this is right link
Temple says if a place is not recommended, aviod it, if they have no comments on a place, it is usually fine. this should help you in your search assuming i gave you right link
It’s livable, but I’ve heard bad things about it. Apparently the rooms are not very nice and they’re super small, and management is rude and inefficient. So if you can deal with that and you don’t spend too much time inside (or you don’t mind doing it in a small, noisy place), you’ll be fine. It’s right across the street from campus.
I’ve heard Sydenham Commons is really good, so you might want to look into that one.
hjere is what i got from another parent: We just finished the “search for housing” for the fall last month, and I felt the Edge seemed small and expensive compared to available apartments in the area.

and i have heard good things about what i think is called Diamond Green, hope this helpe
Thank you so much for all the help! @ctl987 I’ll definitely check that out too!
I have heard nothing but bad things from The Edge from friends here at Temple. I would check out Diamond Green since I have heard great things from friends that are residents there. However, don’t quote me since I have not personally lived there. You can also find decent apartments close to campus on facebook groups.
