Off Campus Housing Options?

I will be (hopefully) transferring to UNC in the fall and I am wondering about the various off campus housing options available. At the university I currently attend, there are lots of "student housing" companies that lease apartments by room specifically to students. Are there places of this type at UNC? If so, what are their names?

Separate, but related: where do UNC students live off campus mostly? Are there specific apartment complexes that are popular (student living or non-student living), or do most students live in houses, etc.? Since I will be transferring in and do not know any students, I'm looking to live somewhere popular where I can hopefully meet other students and have a good time. Ideally, I'd like something moderately priced ($500-600) with decent night life but also relatively quiet during the week.

If I am accepted as a transfer, are there facebook groups I can join to find housing and roommates?

Sorry for the million questions. I'd appreciate answers to any! Thanks!

Chapel View or Chapel Ridge are both nice options. I will be living there this fall.

Do NOT move to Estes Park, or any property managed by GSC (there are quite a few in the area). Don’t be fooled by their cheap rent - I don’t want to slander this company in a public forum, so I will just say that my warning comes from personal experience and I will leave it at that.

Thanks for both of your responses! Anywhere other than Chapel View or Chapel Ridge you’d recommend? I’ll keep them both as options, but just want to be fully informed. Thanks!!
