My D (1st year H law) is looking for off campus housing near the metro, within 20 mins walking radius. Any suggestions besides H facebook page and craiglist?
Looking for a safe place, hopefully not over 2 stories (or w/ elevator) due to leg injury. We don’t live in the area, and it is hard to figure things out from Texas, when we are also on a limited budget.
We are ready to be creative, thinking garage apartment, or somebody’s guest room. She is a quiet, responsible young adult and will be studying about 25 hrs a day

Thanks, and yes, open to consider mist options. As I said in another post, because of previous bad experience, really looking at safety, preferring a family or elder property, garage apartment, etc. D is studious and responsible, used to work/study 25/7 and would be a good fit.
Budget is tight (trying to avoid fees) but security is first. Vicinity to campus is important as she has a leg injury.
