Where are the best places to live off-campus at UofM ? Looking for a place that is serious during the weekdays , yet (The neighboorhood) has a good time on the weekends. If you have any suggestions please post them !! Thanks !!

I live at East Jefferson and Division this year, I really like living over here. Close to downtown, the Union, cut through the LSA Building and you are on Central Campus. Pretty quiet during the week, but people still party on the weekends. Generally say that the neighborhood is a bit cleaner than the South Campus area as well. I'd say it's a pretty good mix.

If you want to live in a wilder neighborhood, you move south towards the stadiums - Packard / State, etc. I'm of the opinion that if you are on the northwest side of campus - Ann Street, N. State. etc. it is a lot quieter and there isn't much going on.

Next year I am living on South U. near the Bum Park. Pretty close to Walnut, bars, frats, etc. Would say that that area up by Geddes, Walnut is a little wilder too.
