I didn’t label "a) b) c) " when writing my frqs, I just separated them into paragraphs. Is that ok?

You’re not supposed to label frqs a, b, and c, so you’re good

You can, in fact, label your answers a, b, and c. ■■■■■

Does anyone else remember answers to the test? xD

dudes, not my best test. I think I did well enough on the m/c, maybe like 45-48 right. but then on the frq i slept for the first 80 minutes on accident so i had 20 minutes for the frqs and i only got to write two. i only need a 3 so i’m hoping i got at least 10 points out of those two. Would 64 points be enough for a 3? lets hope.

I’m sure 64 would be enough for a 3.
Sorry, I laughed a little at your situation.
Best of luck!

The worst the curve is going to be is ~75% for a 5. The 2009 exam for example had a harsh curve, requiring students to get 91/120 points to get a 5. At the same time, The AP American Gov curve almost never drops below 70% for a 5, so it’s pretty stratified. Nonetheless, 75% isn’t all that difficult, and assuming that you did well on the multiple choice and at least adequate on the FRQs, you probably got a 5.

How do you know the curves for last year? Would be interesting for other AP’s too.

I may be among the few, but I felt thoroughly prepared. Did around 4-5 practice tests; the last few tests were near perfect, maybe 5ish wrong. FRQs were pretty straightforward too.

Confident in a 5.

I thought the test was straightforward. The FRQs were more complicated just because there are no options. Lol. I just hope I earned a 4-5… considering my teacher has high expectations of me.

That DAMN man!!! Lol.

What was the answer to the question about the biggest gov expenditure?
I knew it probably wasn’t education or transportation. I was torn between interest on national debt and national defense.

entitlements.

My gov teacher has about a 95% pass rate with 50% fives, and I’m worried I didn’t make the five mark. I’m sure i got at least 52/60 MC, but I didnt fully understand a few aspects (like a few a)'s b)'s etc.) of the FRQs. How do you think I stand? I answered them, but they were vague at times. Would it have better if I just guessed and gotten it wrong?

By the way, I thought the MC was about the same as years past, and the FRQ was a lot harder IMO. Good luck for everyone, can’t wait until the third week in July!

Sent from my DROID X2 using CC

who’s paying the 8$ for scores on july 1st?

I think I’ll just e-mail my teacher. They should get the scores sometime in the first week of July.

For the question refering to the elections of 2000 and 2004, what was the answer to the first question it asked? was it African Americans or Jewish?

If I remember correctly, African-Americans. It asked something about consistent Democratic voting.

@dreamer2012 They asked about Mcculloch vs. Maryland in like the second question of the MC…

The FRQ portion of the exam didn’t cover ANY of the non major universally known SCOTUS cases.

Major cases… everybody knows Brown, Muc v. Maryland, marbury v. madsion

but cases like Mapp v. Ohio, Roth v. US, and Sullivan v. US not so much known.

My AP Gov teacher died Thursday night. :(
