Offer Admission - Reconsidered?

I was recently denied admission to my intended major but I sent an application reconsideration form and today I received an email from Purdue saying that I got in. I checked my application status and my decision says “Offer Admission - Reconsidered” but my decision letter is still the same as that of my deny decision. I know that I’m supposed to be happy now but I just want to make sure I got in. I tried finding out what my decision status means but I can’t find it anywhere.

It would be great if any of you could help me out here.

The letters seem to take awhile to generate once they make the decision. I would check it again in 24 hours if you can stand it.

My S was in same situation, took a couple of weeks to get the “new” decision letter posted.
