Here in MN, taking the alternate test:
CR 73/99th percentile
M 70/96th
W 78/99th
Total 221

Anyone have any ideas as to the curves for the alternate test? 73 seems like a pretty low CR score for 99th percentile.

240!!! i missed two in cr so i had a raw score of 35. i guess that still makes an 80.

219
missed 3 CR 77
missed 4 math 68
missed 2 writing 74

219
missed 3 CR 77
missed 4 math 68
missed 2 writing 740

236
Missed 0 CR 80
Missed 1 math 76
Missed 0 writing 80

And normally I would be pleased with that but I bubbled incorrectly on the math one. Uggggh (and yes I know I'm going to community college now, save the sacasm). Anyway, if anyone has a query on a specific question feel free to PM me, I have the test booklet.

It took my school a really long time to get them out, but it made up for it because unless the Maryland cutoff jumps up by 6 points next year I've qualified for national merit semifinalist :)

229
-5 CR (hate that section) = 71
-0 M = 80
-1 W = 78

69 CR
80 M
69 W
218
I was ready to hit myself over the head multiple times when I saw the score, I missed so many obvious questions... But if I remember the cut-off sore right, I would still qualify as national merit semi-finalist... (hopefully)

I got (wednesday test)

80 Crtiical reading (0 wrong 0 omit)

80 Math (0 wrong 0 omit)

75 Writing (2 wrong 0 omit)

overall 235.

my sophomore year i got a 215.

last year in NY the cutoff was around 220. Im assuming I made the cutoff. :)

72 CR
73 M
75 W

220 in Virginia
thats right at the cutoff. do you think it will jump up this year? though i guess theres no real way to tell

I'm guessing the cutoff won't jump, and if anything will go down, due to the harsher curve CB just implemented for writing. The website says scores went down an average of 3-4 points, so hopefully that will sort of cull the concerns of some of you right on the edge...

My school doesn't release our PSAT scores until January. If I got a letter from TASP, does that guarantee/bode that I made the top 1% on my PSAT?

on my score report it says 99% but thats out of the nation. i got a 212 so that means i didnt get it in texas. wah

69 CR (miss 5 omit 1)
80 M (miss 0 omit 0)
75 W (miss 2 omit 0)
=224

hated myself in the reading section, took too long on some questions and ran out of time =(
but I'm in Ohio...so probably semifinalist..right??

80 CR
80 Math
76 Writing

...And I'm from Indiana

last year I got 75 WS, 76 Math, 72 CR=223

on the practice PSAT our school gave us that was treated like an actual test, all proctored and timed and whatnot, I got 80 WS, 80 Math, 80 CR=237

so I'm thinking this test won't be a problem, right?

ha, guess again

Wednesday's test:

-7 in CR=67
-0 in Math=80
-3 in WS=71
218...eieieiei

Indiana's cutoff has never been higher than 213 or 214 though, so hopefully I'm ok

what's funny is that last year our school only had 3 semifinalists (only 350 or so in each class), but this year I know of people getting: 231, 224, 223, 222, 218 (me), 217, 216, 216, 215, 214, 213.....
