"What are your deadlines?
To be considered in the College Match process, QuestBridge finalists need to submit the Princeton Application or the Common Application with the Princeton supplement, along with supporting documents, directly to Princeton's admission office by November 3rd. Those who are matched will be asked to submit the Princeton Financial Aid Application by December 5th."

"When are QuestBridge students notified if they were admitted to Princeton through the College Match process?
College Match applicants will learn if they matched with an institution on December 1st. You will receive an email from QuestBridge.

Students who match with Princeton will receive a follow-up email from us. Non-matched students will not receive notification from Princeton. We will not be able to release decisions by phone. Please communicate directly with QuestBridge to find out if you matched with a school.

All students who submitted the required materials and are not matched with Princeton will automatically be considered in our Regular Decision process. These students will be notified of our decisions along with all other Regular Decision applicants. Princeton will send decision letters around April 1st"

Note: The QB application is still submitted to QB.

hey there
it says on the questbridge website that the transcript MUST BE FAXED IN 48 HOURS BEFORE but would it be okay if my school is faxing them in this Friday(9/26th)? Will that be received by questbridge in time? I'm so worried that my transcript won't get there on time... What if Questbridge does not accept faxes during the weekend????

sorry for freaking out, but I'm just worried. Does anyone know?

What in the world is the non-custodial parent income form? I know that I have to fill it out, but where do I find one (and what if I'm not in contact with my dad)?

Can this be submitted in time before the deadline?

Also, where do we list 8th grade courses/grades counted toward high school credits?
And can I just print out my score report from the ACT and have my counselor fax that in?

Sorry I haven't been able to answer questions! Just reading through them, it appears most of them have been asked before and/or you can find them on the QB site.

I have finished evaluating all the essays and sent them back. If you haven't gotten yours, check your junk mail (I sent it to the email in your profile). If it still isn't there, I may not have gotten it, in which case you should send it again.

About a week left--I hope you all have mostly finished the application and are putting the finishing touches on your essays! As always, good luck!

Thank you for your interest in QuestBridge. In answer to your questions,
each college has its own requirements for how the non-custodial parent
waiver form should be submitted. Applicants should send a copy of the
form to every college they are ranking according to the instructions on
the College Specific Requirements page:

This is probably a silly question, but will sending a general question about the application to the tech-support staff at QB have a negative effect on my application? (I just realized I sent it to them (i sent an e-mail last night), so I quickly resent it to the appropriate staff--No wonder I didn't receive a response back today!)

Of the 5 AP exams I have taken thus far in high school, there is one score that I feel will negatively affect my chances of becoming a finalist on QuestBridge (darn Painting class!). If I input my four passing scores and exclude the remaining score and send in a copy of my official AP exam scores, will that negatively affect me?

I'm planning to retake the SAT (Reasoning Test) in October, as I do not feel that my first SAT score met my standards.

Should I still input that score along with my October SAT score?

I am also planning to take one last SAT Subject test either in November or December. Will I not be able to send those in to QuestBridge? (I'm thinking "no," but I'd like to make sure.)

Do I have to get my counselor to fax in the SAT score report I received by mail, or can I print an unofficial score report from the College Board website?

The november test wont get to QB in time (they inform you of finalist status in late october) but it may make it to the colleges in time, you'd have to look on their site.

Sorry if this was already answered but say I become a finalist and opt out of the college match part -- can I still send in apps for early action [non binding] which are due nov 1?

I noticed that opting out puts you in the RD group which is fine with me (I'm only choosing two match colleges; yale and amherst.

Sorry, I'm confused again.
When you submit your application, QB reads your application and decides if you're a finalist, right?
If you selected some colleges when you submitted your application, those colleges will also get to read your application right, regardless if you reach finalist?

I'm just wondering whether I should do the college match part since I was planning to do ED somewhere, and I don't want them to read my half assed QB application.

<<if you="" selected="" some="" colleges="" when="" submitted="" your="" application,="" those="" will="" also="" get="" to="" read="" application="" right,="" regardless="" if="" reach="" finalist?="">> They will only read them if you are selected as a finalist.</if>
