hey i just got my act score back (online report) but it doesnt include my writing score. do i print that out and fax that into qb or do i wait for the full report (w/ my writing) and then fax it ?

Fax what you have before the deadline (September 30th).

i am trying to submit my application but it keeps saying:

The Household section must be completed before you can submit the application

when everything is completed. what do i do!!!!

when i submitted my application, it says Completed and Submitted. but i can still edit my application; is this how its supposed to be? does this mean it hasn't officially been sent or do they just lock it in as it is by September 30th?

^ That's what happened to me too. They lock it on Sept 30 I think

BTW - Does any of you have "Completed" or "Submitted" next to your teacher recs?

i have completed next to all three of mine.

Well, even though you have already sent it, you can still edit it and send in the revised application before they lock it up on tuesday. At least that was how they did it for the College Prep Scholarship.

the same applies for the rankings i'm assuming then, right?

The rankings can be revised multiple time until the deadline, so yes.

okay thanks :D you've been a lot of help

No problem. We're all in the same boat right - aren't we? =)

Hi guys, I have a question about faxing in recommendations.

I spoke with my teachers earlier this week to remind them of the deadline, and they said they would fax everything in over this weekend. I was wondering if it'd make it in time for the deadline since QB says it takes 48 hours to process faxes and they're not working today. Would faxing in on Monday still make the cut? I'm a bit nervous now.

Thanks in advance :)

i think it can take up to 48 hours but i know that as soon as my guidance counselor sent her recc in via fax, it went there almost immediately.

if you're worried though, i would email Questbridge.

Hey guys, I was just wondering - what types of things did you put in for Academic Honors?

I'm clueless as to what I'm supposed to put in here...I have 4.0 Honor Roll in there..but uh...what else

^Like put honors that you received and are proud of. Like National Merit or Cum Laude Society.

Thank you stasis :).

Thanks Quicks - can you think of any other examples of academic honors?

I don't think i have enough and I cant think of any more myself...

^^You don't have to fill up all the award spaces...just list what you have.

Well, try what I did. Get a piece of paper and go through in your mind starting with your Freshmen year of all the awards or honors you have received. Take it year by year and really probe your memories.

Think about different aspects. (Community Service, Academics, Competitions, Sports, Special Honors, etc.)

For additional measures ask your parents - sometimes they can remember what you can't.

If all else fails, then just list what you have in the order of importance.

Good Luck!

I am currently filling out my work experience portion and QB asks to put a start date and end date, but I am still working at that same job. What do I put?
