Yay, the "Update Test Scores" link is back...

^ i emailed questbridge and they told methat you'll have a chance to rerank if you're a finalist.

^What do you mean by this? Won't they already match you to a school if your a finalist?

no. when they tell you you're a finalist, you'll have a chance to edit your college rankigns.

Oh wow. A friend and fellow QB participant and I were just discussing that! Thank you nashimshimhaeyo! It puts us at ease =)

I'm still curious though since if they do that how do they match you with a college?

The update rankings link will probably disappear after a few days in which case that means your rankings are then put in stone.

^But aren't they suppose to have matched you already when you are told of your decision this Friday?

quickandslowly, the schools don't see any apps until the finalists are chosen. QB chooses the finalists then forwards those apps to the schools each finalist has ranked.

^Oh ok. Thanks GA2012MOM!

If selected as a finalist and matched, the student has to turn in all the college supplements by November 3. And for colleges that require finalists to complete their applications, should the students send in fee waiver requests to them?

Some of the apps cost $70, and students might not be able to spend that much. How does the whole fee waiver for college app thing work out if chosen as a finalist?

If you are a finalist, all app fees to your schools, whether you checked them for match or RD are automatically waived.

If you are not a finalist, but have QB forward your apps for RD, many of the schools waive the apps fee, some do not. You need to check on the RD table on the QB page for each of your schools. Request a waiver from your GC for those who do not waive apps fee for non-finalists.

Also, if the schools you have QB forward to in RD do not have the fee waivered, it may be possible they can be waivered by College Board if you qualified for fee waiver status for tests. I believe up to four school application fees can be waivered.

For those of you who wants to know...

My question to QB:
A question I have regarding submitting the October SAT scores is that after I update my new score in My Locker, do I need to also fax the print out of the unofficial College Board score sheet to QuestBridge using the fax cover sheet? Or will only the updating of scores need to be done in My Locker?

QB's response:
Submitting the scores on the locker page is enough.

Kind regards,
The QuestBridge Team

if i w/draw my app and apply EA to a partner school but get rejected, can i forward my app to the same school regular decision?

do we HAVE to update our scores? i took october sat II's and quite frankly, i'm not happy with them.

stasis:
you dont need sat2s to be considered. so technically no

15+ more hours!!

Statis -

If you are applying to a school which requires SAT II's (Princeton requires 3; Yale 2 - check the requirements) you MUST submit SAT II scores. They will not be be considered for QB finalist status (as I have posted straight from the site before) but if you are selected as a QB finalist, QB will forward your app on to the match list schools. Therefore, QB asked that SAT II scores be entered in "My Locker" today.

I'm home with bronchitis this week thinking about all the work I will have to make up. :(

I updated my scores in the "Update Scores" page, but it is not showing up in the actual applcation. For example, my SAT II scores still say "0" next to them instead of the score that I received even though I entered them in the "Update Scores" page.
