Official 2011 AP US History Thread!

Yep. Not believing I have a 5 in anything until I have the score paper in my hands.

So I took an MC test awhile ago and got 57/80. Just took one and got a 50/80 (crap. didn’t look over my answers though, would’ve caught some of them had I spent the 5 mins I had left checking.) If I look at 4 MC tests and know all of the questions, am I set for the MC?

Took a full-length practice exam a few weeks ago and got a 132/180 even with a terrible (think 3/9) FRQ thrown in there. Not super-stressed, but I have the class tomorrow so I’ll be brushing up on some stuff.

You would be decently set serenen.

If any of you want an additional practice test, there is one released by the maker of the DH book. It’s pretty good - it puts a page number in the DH book next to each answer so you know where to go if you get it wrong. It has 100 questions organized by time period so it’s not the exact format of the test but it’s good practice. The questions seem to be slightly easier than the actual exam questions, though.

I lost my AMSCO book, and am too lazy to look for it, so I am now rereading DH a second time ! I figure I’ll go over Crash Course again and pray that that’ll be enough. If anyone has any practice tests (for SAT II USH or APUSH), could they please send it to me? christywang94@gmail.com Much thanks in advance !!

are there any good videos for review??

Anyone have 2001 or 2006 exam?

EDIT:Got em, pm me if you want

can someone send me the multiple choice 2006/2008 (or any others) with answers to my email - jay.kurani@fwcd.com
i would appreciate it SO much, need them asap, thank you very much

ok i just got an 80/80 on an REA MC. i think i’m pretty good at the subject, like i think i’ll get a 5, but i’m not THAT good. does anyone else think that the review book tests are too easy?

No, you’re just super smart. Put your book down and brainstorm the DBQ.

… sarcasm?

I think I have a good chance for a 5… Took a practice test today, got 72/80, most everyone else got 40’s… Have gotten one 6, three sevens, three eights, two nines on essays, so I’m set… Tomorrow I’m just reviewing everythign I got wrong on the amsco quizzes…

Well after getting a 49/80 on the 2001 exam MC, I took a break, and started the 1996 and got 64/80 :D. I’m not convinced though, I have gotten 55/80, 56/80 on practice tests and 49/80, 64/80 on previously released APUSH MC exams… Very inconsistent.

I might re-read DH again, it’s so boring though lol.

anyone have subject tests?

Thanks to a kind user, MarinebioSax, I got 2001 and 2006 mc. If anyone wants, PM me and ill do my best to link it. Dont reply on here to tell me to PM me you, just because I can’t keep up with it like that.

does anyone have a pdf of the dh book? i have all the apush tests to trade if need be. i would buy the book but there is no way for me to get it by tomorrow and barnes and noble doesnt have it :/

If anyone could send me old released tests it would be greatly appreciated.
I have a collegeboard practice test that I could trade

So my studying isn’t going how I wanted it to. What are some major topics I should brush up on? My class never finished our book, so I need to read up on post-WWII stuff, for sure.

I’m going to take the 01 exam now to see where I stand.

DBQ predictions anyone? People have been saying the Gilded Age, New Deal, Civil War, etc. If any of those, I think it’s going to be on the Gilded Age.

Gilded age DBQ? For a DBQ, shouldnt be impossible… why are people suggesting it though?

How difficult is the 2001 exam compared to recent ones? Is it a good litmus test? What about 1996 and 2006?
