<p>From previous years’ threads, it sounds like you get a letter within a week, then the actual prize package a month or two later. Dunno what’ll be the case this year, though.</p>

If I may ask, does anyone know what the instructions for regional finalists are? I got a call today from collegeboard but had a hard time understanding instructions (I couldn’t hear through my phone lol) so if anyone knows, I would greatly appreciate any help

<p>its supposed to be 1/300 projects for semifinals and 1/60 projects for regional finalists. but since there are teams of 2 or 3, the number of students is usually a bit higher</p>

According to last year’s thread, they sent a copy of the USA Today as part of the prize package.</p>
<p>It was the 10/25 edition, but it’s not that special because they print your name in like 2pt. font because the schools with a bunch of letters in their name take up all the room (ie Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology)</p>
<p>Semifinalist! Late, I know. I’m on the West Coast and the letter said that we would be receiving packages in early December. Rumor has it that the prize will be a Chromebook.</p>

<p>I doubt it’s a chromebook. The trend for the past 3 years has been a $100 gift. The cheapest chromebook is $200. But I would love to have one! Just don’t get your hopes up guys</p>
