Isn’t talking about the content on the test like illegal or something

@shanethesemi i doubt you will get much points from doing that since its not at all in the same time period. Idk the exact rubric for compare contrast though, so maybe the fact that you did that wont completely void most of your essay.

For the CCOT, do you think it was okay to mention religion? I fugured that can be part of culture, and told how christianity remained a a central authority in western europe, and changed in Byzantine, becoming more localized.

Talking about multiple choice questions is disallowed. Talking about FRQs within 48 hours of taking the test is disallowed. People do it anyway, but I’m not because I don’t want to take any chances.

Anyway, in regards to essays, I’m pretty sure you could write completely false information for half your essay, and still get evidence points if your other half is coherent and correct. Grading starts at 0, so you can’t really lose points for doing something wrong, you can only not get points.

Today when I was trying to take my AP World History Exam Section II with all the essays, half of the class finished within the first 30 minutes because they chose not to read or try to write the essays. I wouldn’t care, but the relentlessly were creating noise, distractions, whispering, and mouthing to each other across the room. Our proctor was a very old lady who constantly asked them to stop, but they were very rude to her and disrespectful. At one point a kid in the back left corner even had the nerve to stand up and shout to a kid in the front right corner “YO SAM, HOWD YOU THINK THIS ******** TEST WENT?!” causing even more distractions. I finished with 10 minutes left and decided to write a letter to the collegeboard about these irregularities, including the student’s names, our high school, our school code, and all that was going on. I also reported that they were discussing specific answers on the multiple choice during our break, which they were. In the box where we’re supposed to put what question # we’re answering, I wrote “cheating and testing irregularity,” I then signed my letter and closed my booklet. Afterwards I went to the office and reported these issues directly to the principal who said they’d check out the exam booklets to see what those students spent their time writing and there would be consequences. Do you think the collegeboard will do anything when they see my letter or should I call the OTI instead?

Does anyone know the answer to that last quote about the woman basing her book on her husbands work?
I know one question was asking about the quote and the other was asking about “which is most likely like the author above” and I don’t even remember the answer choices

Hello Everyone! For the second essay question, I wrote about the Abbasid and the Umayyad caliphates but completely missed the Romans and the Byzantine Empire. 0_o Will I still get most of the points?

would spread of greek culture from 200 CE to 1000 CE be a contnuity as the Roman Empires continued their influence?

Elyvine, I disagree on the Viking thing, largely because their excursions into Eastern and Northern Europe created significant trade. I’m thinking of a trading center like Novgorod, born of Viking expeditions. Also, to say Polynesians did not cover a large area is erroneous; the Pacific island region is huge. HUGE.

ThatApGuy, if you’re referring to the eastern Mediterranean I would say yes. Greco-Roman classicism was a dominating force in the Byzantine Empire, and their writings also found a home in the caliphates. However, Western Europe was not quite so lucky as to retain classical ideals (because of the western half’s utter fragmentation), and much Greco-Roman thought was lost until the Crusades and the sacking of Constantinople renewed classical interest in the form of Renaissance humanism.

So much for not discussing test questions…what’s the point? Is it some sort of comfort or something? It’s not like we’re gonna know the answer anymore than yourselves. QUIT TALKING ABOUT THE DAMNED TEST. We aren’t supposed to. I’d laugh if CollegeBoard people read this thread and found out who’s writing this. Just talk about how you think you did. It’s not like you can change anything, and who knows if you’re getting right answers for us anyhow. So just knock it off.

I think I did good on some of it at least.

Schoolandstuff, the answers were: that her preface was a response to criticisms of gender role violation; most similar would be European women of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries who used male pseudonyms, I think.

I still don’t get why most people didn’t do Russia and Japan… Those are literally the two that’d easily get you a 7 or more

OMG THE ESSAYS

Having Austria and Prussia in that one essay was so ■■■■■.

Also, I am really sad. That 2nd essay, I wrote about Schism and Byzantine, Feudalism, and Crusades.

I’m so scared. I think I got a 0 because of Crusades and Schism because they happened in 1054 and 1090, respectively.

Btw, that answer was Indian women ruling under son’s name.

Can someone make a chat? Also, what was the Gandhi one?

I put restricts decolonization. I think that is wrong.

I know I got 2 wrong already.

PS. The Polynesian one was trade with Han China. Song was population correct?

My first essay was six pages long BUT DIDNT YOU NEED TO USE ALL NINE SOURCES?!?! I used them all and mentioned how another document helped analyze =.= now I’m ****ed for using all nine.
The second essay was shaky for me.
My third essay was Japan vs china CUZ I thought it was so easy talking about how the two were first isolated then both tried to industrialize but Japan was able to and china faves resistance.
