I checked out some of the practice World History SAT questions on the College Board website and they actually seemed pretty easy (comparatively, I feel, to APWH) - I was planning on taking it sometime this year

Collegeboard will never give you anything more than that single digit to describe your test performance, even if you order your free response booklet.

@Wskimo and others confused by his situation
Some schools receive multiple versions of the free response sections as a control factor.

my sis is having trouble accessing her scores… she logs in with her collegeboard account and it says “no scores available”. But it’s weird because I can see my scores. We took the test at normal testing time so idk what’s the hold up! anybody else having this problem? suggestions?

@msincredible

That’s really weird…I would suggest just checking tomorrow, since once the scores are “officially” released the problem may resolve itself.

other than that, you could always call if the scores don’t show tomorrow, if your sister has her access number. (Sorry for the bad advice, freshman - it’s my first AP test)

In regards to the exam this year… I agree with what everyone is saying. The majority of the questions were tedious and the long passages really hurt my time. I scored a 3, which I was disappointed with at first but I found out that all of the people I was studying with received 2s and 1s, so I’m just happy that I passed and will receive credit for it. In any case, I was able to access my score from the early access today, but I can’t see my essay scores… does anyone know if they give those during full access or if we just won’t receive them? I’m very curious to know my scores.

I’m starting to wonder if I need to get better at erasing my mistakes on the scantron. During the test I didn’t see a question and I didn’t notice for like 10 questions. Then I was like oh crud but I bubbled them all in really hardly. If if was anything akin to what usually happens when I do that on scantron tests… let’s just say a lot of answers probably were misread
At least I got a four, though I really wonder if the bubbling affected my score. Is it possible ten questions (they were all pretty easy) could have been the differeence between a 4 and a 5? Just curious :)

I got a 3 :banghead:

I really wanted a 4, but I know I bombed the test. I want to retake the exam but it’s so stressful. Any advice?

Just study up! I would definitely suggest watching the Crash Course videos - I’m pretty sure the only reason I got a 5 is because I watched every single crash course video in the 2 days leading up to the exam.

I got a 5 and I’m more confused than I am satisfied/proud because those essays, man I don’t even Japan, THOUGH. I honestly don’t even Russia either.

I can’t.

5 as a freshman!
so surprised, i really bombed the cc essay. i picked ottoman & didn’t even mention meiji restoration at all; didn’t finish mc either…but yay! i was so happy!
Nearly everyone in my class got a 4 or 5–my teacher was excellent.:)

Why do people think the CCOT essay was so hard? I’m shocked that 60% of APWH students couldn’t mention one cultural effect of the fall of Rome and get your change point right there… what was so surprising/flustering about it?

That DBQ, though, man.

5 and I still don’t know anything about World History.

Sigh.

LOL I got a 3 but don’t know anything about world history
I want your 5 man.

Anyone know how to study for kathleen addison multiple choice tests?

World History is just brute memorization… barely of this stuff is even relate able
