<p>Logging in another FULL TUITION SCHOLARSHIP!!! I just text messaged S at school and he is excited. Without CC, I wouldn't have even known of the opportunities at Pitt. </p>
<p>He also was invited to apply to Chancellor's Scholarship. This is great news.</p>

<p>My S. received an acceptance letter 10/9, honors letter & grad school acceptance 10/16, and now we are waiting (and hoping) to hear about scholarships. When did everyone that received scholarships get their letters? Pitt is one of his top choices, however we are in state. Thanks! CC has been a wealth of information.</p>
<p>Lets see.. Do not know when it was received, but the acceptance letter was dated October 7. The Honors Packet, along with conditional acceptance to grad school, was dated October 14. This scholarship letter is dated October 28, and we received it today, November 3.</p>

<p>im calling tomorrow because i really think they were supposed to send a denial letter .. my mom even said are you sure they didnt mess this up .. i only say this because i havent heard of ANYONE yet that received a denial letter ..at least 10 people got admitted from my school already</p>

<p>i got a letter from office of admissions blah blah and i was like yes this is a scholarship haha and then i read it and it's about my major at Pitt??? pure torture! haha</p>
<p>I looked it up on the mypitt website and it finally said my application was complete today. So when do you think I should be accepting the letter from them?</p>

<p>i got a 2k a year scholarship from the school of engineering, but it also says "note that this scholarship is in addition to the scholarship offer you recently received from the University of Pittsburgh." but i didn't receive any other scholarship yet from pitt??? maybe ill get it tomorrow or something.</p>
<p>^^^^^Check the letter again....We got one too from the college of engineering, it is 2K a SEMESTER, for a total of 16K over 4 years. Pretty sweet! It doesn't make sense that you'd get this without the other letter...Wonder if it got lost in the mail?</p>
<p>Last year people were reporting that they got the letters out of the order you would expect them to be. If I were you, AKittka, I would be happy! :D</p>
