<p>I’ve been stressing over college apps for so long that I haven’t been focusing on waiting for Intel sts results to be released :3 4 DAYS!!!</p>
<p>omg just realized the results are going to be released at 7am. </p>
<p>nope, not sleeping at all the night before</p>
<p>wow. Yeah, because of college stuff and all that drama I hadn’t been thinking at all about Intel STS. Submitting my app feels like such a long time ago</p>

<p>How many people have applied from Minnesota?</p>
<p>Is anyone else worried that their low SAT scores may have affected them in some way?</p>
<p>I wonder how much SAT matters. Nobody at my school applies, so it’s hard to say if they matter or not. I would assume, though, that high SAT would correlate with high quality all around (because the same people who score well on the SATs are probably the same ones with interests in research), so if someone DOES find some official data or knows others who have won, I wouldn’t take it as a bad omen for your research.</p>
<p>So excited to see the results at 7 AM. I won’t be able to sleep, haha.</p>

<p>Ugh, Wednesday can’t come sooner… I need distractions b/c I can’t stop thinking about it or searching about it.</p>
<p>Does not having anyone from your school apply help you in the acceptance thing? Because you guys are talking about how no one has applied for a while, so just curious.</p>

<p>So the badges for 2014 entrants were there and now they are gone. Guess they are still working on the system…</p>
<p>I never got my entrance badge when the rest of them were up the other day; i’m hoping that the fact that they took them down means that there were a lot of problems with the system, but I can’t help the feeling that they would have made sure from the beginning that all semifinalist were in the badge system the first time around

<p>actually it’s weird, my badge shows up on my profile, but when i click on it, it says no user has earned this…</p>
<p>Did you do anything other than logging in to get your badge? I looked on the FAQ page under the “how to claim your badge” section and all its says is to log in with your ssp account but doesn’t say if there is anything after that. </p>
<p>Did anyone else not get the entrance badge to begin with? I emailed them but they haven’t responded yet.</p>

<p>There were more than 500 entrant badges for 2014 last week. Now there are 0. Shows no badges for STS for 2014 at a all. They must be playing around with the system. I really don’t think it has any correlation with semifinalists. I think they have been struggling with the badging system since they started it. Shouldn’t read too much into any of it!</p>
<p>I emailed them about how missing my badge from yesterday when they were up…they said badges haven’t been issued yet at all…?</p>
