I got an email saying that I will receive a formal acceptance letter within the next week. Anyone else?
My daughter also received an email congratulating her on her admission and inviting her to a diversity admissions event in April.
Same here. I think those are considered “early writes.” It’s a thing (we just became aware of).

I received an email telling me that I’ll receive my “decision” next Saturday. Should I read anything into it? since they sent acceptances already ?
yah i heard a lot of liberal arts and nescac schools come out on saturday 24th. I’m afraid that a lot of people already know they got accepted via ‘early writes.’ Idk if that means we have a very low shot of getting in or what. Idk how it works but good luck.
@Adel291 don’t despair. Early writes are usually a really small portion of the total amount that a school accepts. It isn’t true that most people getting in have found out yet. My eldest a couple of years ago didn’t get early writes to a bunch of schools but ended up getting into most of them.
To those who got “early writes”, would you please share your stats?
Don’t panic–most kids who will be accepted do not get early writes.
In Conn’s case they may be using the mechanism to encourage diversity.

Does Connecticut have a link to their admitted students days where you have to sign into your portal? It may not be telling, but for Gettysburg, if you could sign in, you got in (it was confirmed).

@pfdgjb For Gettysburg, by “sign in” do you mean actually sign up for the admitted students’ day or just that your information was pre-filled on the sign up form? Isn’t it weird to attempt to sign up for an admitted students’ day if you’re not admitted?
