**Official 9 December ACT Discussion Thread**

Science:
Males with one white allele? 2,3, and 4 is what I said.
Both methods try to increase density of nuclei?

English "So, (begin new paragraph) or So, after blah blah"? I said the former.
Began or Begun? I said began.
"Likely explanation" or "likely to be the most probable explanation"?
"as if waiting" or "as if she waited" I said the former.
"we will never know what she was waiting for" = detracts from the focus?

Reading: Foreign = uncharacteristic?
Photograph paragraph rekindles bond of love blah blah?

Math:(m,sqrroot3m?)
circle, 2 tangent lines, and 85 and 95 degrees (roman numerals) I said I, II and III. Wasn't sure.
Clock question! Not sure *** was my problem. I picked the highest answer.. probably wrong in retrospect.
Inequality! ><

This was my fifth, and last, time taking the ACT; In comparison, I think it was easier than previous examples. English was a bit sketchy in some parts, math was notably easier, science easier than usual (except the carburator [spl] passage), and reading was quite easy.

I thought they were both methods to fuse or whatever, but now I see I was probably wrong. I really want to stop coming on here, it just makes me so much more nervous, but I can't!!

I wasn't sure about began-begun either, I put begun. And that line did detract from focus, is what I said.

For the math, I put I and II. And I seriously don't even remember the clock question.

I put white allele 2,3,4

likely explanination because the others were redundant. "as if she waited" didnt sound right so I choose "as if waiting"

I think the clock one the highest it can read is 9:59 or 405

Oh, yeah now I remeber it, that's what I put as well.

i put begun...because you use has/have begun..... and I got II only for the tangent one .

i got the same answers as skp21

ok wat is the highest possible one? i sat there trying some out and just couldnt get it... o and i had begun too

Yeah, I got begun, waiting, 9:59/405 for the clock thing, white allele 2, 3, 4, and for the tangent parallel line one I had no clue but I think I said only one of them was true.
Also, I just put likely explanation. I was torn on that one but I felt that overally more concise=better.
Yes, foreign=uncharacteristic.
For the photograph paragraph I put something about it showing the relationship being strained even though it was getting better but idk...

Anyone care to redraw the tangent parallel circle question? I think I put true to only one of them as well.

i put true to only one as well

yeah only II was correct.

What form did you guys have?

good II is what i put

anyone find those skin temperature and inner head temperature graphs to be slightly confusing

yea the graphs were confusing at first. took me a little while to find wat was going on in the graphs.

i definitely found them confusing at first as well -_-;

i thought this act was easier than the last one (oct) =]
my nose was bleeding on the oct test lol

maybe thats why

OMFG MATH WAS A KILLER

READING/Writing= okay

Science= Not too hard....had to guess on last 5

english: easy
math: hard
reading: pretty easy
science: retarded

English was pretty easy, predictable.
Math was a lot harder than I thought, but bearable.
Reading was only hard because I started to run out of time.
Science was .... different.
