What do you all think of the test? Funny thing is that i got the same test i gave in October!

Did you really get the same test? I really hope my daughter did not get the same one she had in October as she found the science and math sections in october harder than any of the real or practice tests she has done.

100% same, not a question different! But i gave it in India so i doubt your D will get the same.

I hope you had studied up on any parts of the test you had struggled with the first time. :)

Wow. This test was the hardest I have ever taken. The science was a killer as well as reading. Math was decent and english was mediocre.

that's really strange that you'd have the same test!

The same test? That does seem weird.
I found the math is be very easy compared to the past ACTs I have taken. I really hope I got my 28 score, but I struggled on the reading/science. You can combine the sub scores for some scholarships/colleges right?

Actually no, I never knew that we could get the same test. I gave the ACT for the first time in Oct, so i was a bit unaware about the test format. This time i improved at least 1-2 points on Science and Maths, can't say about English.

same here. Math was easy...did you get pi for the last answer? it was about finding the arc if the angle = 18

When i realized that it was the same test i became much less enthusiastic, had to force my mind to concentrate on the test.

ughh why is this thread so dead? We need to start aggregating answers

only hard part was math

English was cake. Math was good too, only had a little trouble with science + reading.

What did the number line look like for that question which was something like |x + b| < 4

First time taking it, and definitely expected it to be easier. I though the english was easy and reading was okay, but my usual strengths are math and science and I found those two quite difficult.

Just got back from my 3rd (and last) time taking it.

In contrast to what other people have said, I really think I knocked this one out of the park this time.

English - Fine, I didn't struggle on one.
Math - Great, didn't feel the time crunch.
Reading - I thought it was the easiest I've encountered and no time crunch.
Science - Also easiest I though, no time crunch.

But, my feelings may dissolve if people all start posting answers I didn't get >_>

can we start gathering math answers? i got pi for the 18degrees and finding the arc, 24 for that 'If A, B, C, and D lie in a line', hmm......

I also got pi for the 18degrees arc one, and 24 for the number line.

The one with the matrix I got -3. The only one that I have no idea was the |x-4| >= b one. I put A, IIRC.

English - Good and no time crunch
Math - had two minutes left over, got them all unless i messed up on stupid math mistakes
Reading - the first passage was boring to me, big time crunch, last circle filled in the last second
Science - pretty simple just looking at the diagrams and charts, had one minute left over

Hoping for a 30

Essay - oK topic; had 7 minutes left over

yeah...ahh yeah i didn't want to spend 5 mins working on that inequality problem so I just guessed on that one.....but other than that, all the questions were rather facile

i got pi for the last answer and i guessed C for the number line
