OFFICIAL: Accepted or not Northeastern University

There wouldn't be a fall 2013 facebook group. You guys are fall 2014.

The majority of NEU goes on a 5 year plan (which you should all know about by now...). Therefore even though I think on the acceptance letters it says 2013, the moment you become students, you are class of 2014. The banner at orientation will say 2014. Some students (not many) will choose to graduate in 2013 by not doing as many co-ops, and some are in pharmacy or other 6 years programs so they will graduate in 2015. However, you are in general the class of 2014.

u got into the direct entry....so long as u didnt apply as a transfer into pharmacy (i dont think PT has transfer tho im not sure)

hl1004, if we haven't applied for any scholarship as an international, can we still get an offer?

I was really confused when everybody started talking about scholarships. Those are only tentative...they aren't official yet...it is just an estimate.

Are you sure, that internationals find out their scholarship in March? I couldn't find anything about it on their web-site...
I would sure like that :)

lexusright... are you saying that none of the merit scholarships are official yet? [I haven't checked online yet or anything, so I don't know if I got any or not] I thought that just the need-based aid would be tentative.

ACCEPTED as a Finance Major in CBA.

GPA: 3.3 Unweighted at private school
ACT: 28 Comp.
Lots of work experience and EC's

Accepted for Pharmacy program

long term commitment to extracirriculars
Scholarships: 10k 1st year, 5k rest

No honors/AP

The merit scholarships are official. I think what lexusright meant was that the other scholarship information is tentative until you file your CSS and FAFSA. Merit scholarships do carry GPA requirements though so read that portion carefully.

"International students admitted for the fall and have been selected to receive a merit scholarship will be notified no later than April 1 "
its on the application status check page when you first log in.

I forgot to put my stats earlier. In yalls opinion what are my chances of getting in if i was deffered and these are my stats?

Deans Scholarship

I didn't get into honors though :(

Once may rolls around and people say where they are going, do school reevaluate scholarships and such, because they have more money?

No what you get for Deans Scholarship is what you get. They do not reevaluate.

Accepted

-Honors Program
-Behavior Neurscience major with 13,000 and 6,500 after that

2190 SATs
3.7-3.8 ish GPA
top 10%
lots of music ECs, plus captain of varsity tennis, and student council VP

It's kind of weird cause everyone from my school got 13,000 and now all these people got different stuff

Also, it seems like the only scholarship there is is the Dean's scholarship is that true?

once may comes, is it possible for them to reevaluate the honors program members if not that many kids that were accepted come to the school/some of the EA pool is in the 10th percent after looking at the RD pool?
