Haha. Well, both schools are pretty baller in terms of academics and such (finaid included).

And Drama - how long does it usually take you to write essays? From your posts, it’s quite evident that you are pretty well versed in composition and all. For me, it takes like 20 minutes to bang out college essays and then I spend time on revision.

Advice: Get off of CC and start writing! Haha. Apps are due on the 1st. AHHH!!

Speaking of apps, have you guys finished yet?

Shhhh, let’s not talk about imposing deadlines. =]

It varies for me, to be honest. I could bang out some really good ones in about an hour or so, and then the intense revisions take a couple of hours or so.

I think I’ll be okay. At least, that’s what I hope, haha.

That’s impressive.

Haha, thanks. That’s only when I’m not distracted, though. Which, of course, I am right now. I’ll blame it on my CC addiction. =P

Darkblademaster;

See, I’m coming around to finishing essays and putting final touches, but I can’t bring myself to click the submit button.
:(

On another thought: Drama and Dark - We’re all online at the same time!

LOLLL

I’m the same as DC when it comes to banging out essays. I did 19 essays in the last week or so (well, I essayed for 5days, after which I procrastinated for 3 days on my last 2 essays. I’m stilll procrastinating on those. :p)

I just sent my scores to Amherst. Whoopee.

Amherst accepts scores sent from applicant’s high schools right? Because I had my HS send the score report.

Also, before I submit my Amherst supplement, I’m going to run around my house screaming for about an hour before I summon up the nerve to actually hit that button.

19 essays? Wow. I just recycled and modified a lot. So in the end I only wrote about four essays that were tossed around.

Yes, we have no lives. ;)

^Sounds like a plan. I intend on doing the same.
:)

Is Amherst you guys’ top choice?

^^That post was directed to Quasi…not to dark’s post regarding the fact that we have no lives. LOL

I had about 27 essays to do until I thought of recycling and modifying.

Haha, having a life is overrated.

AMHERST IS MORE THAN MY TOP CHOICE. IT IS MY REASON FOR LIVING, THE FIRST THING I THINK ABOUT WHEN I WAKE UP IN THE MORNING, MY…

Okay, I’ll stop now.

Dark - Princeton is my top choice. I’m not applying though. LOL

Kidding. I guess it is. But I don’t want to say that it is because I don’t want to jinx it. So I’ll leave it at that. :)

Yeah, I would have recycled and modified but all the schools I was applying to had very different prompts, so I couldn’t do that.

Then again, I’m not crazy like Quasi applying to 17 schools and all. Haha!

17 schools? I thought I had a lot. (only 12)

So, I just came to the realization that I love my Intel application. The thing had about 5 essays that needed to be written, as well as the 20-page paper, and I did the entire thing in a matter of a week. Yes, I am the President of Procrastination Nation, ready to help the world…tomorrow.

Well, one of my schools required an essay to be considered for some science scholarship, and I just found out that one of my Intel essays could be used.

Official Essay Count: 5. YESSSS.

What is this world “life” you all speak of? Sounds like a myth to me.

Yeah, well, Quasi is an international needing FA who would be forced to go to law school if no LAC would be kind enough to take her.

Quasi really, REALLY does not want to go to law school.

DC - can I be Vice President? I’ll give you non-carbonara-sauced pasta.
