Overall, I passed, but could have done much better. I didn’t pace myself on the essays and that probably will hurt come July. :(

Did anyone else feel they got screwed over by studying wrong material? I was up until one in the morning memorizing hormones and a bunch of other stuff that weren’t even asked. I should have reviewed more of the stuff I thought were easy like if I spent 30 seconds reading animal behavior or the flower, I wouldn’t have missed those questions. I also would have gotten much more points on the essay.

Thank you! I thought the essays were really hard too. We never really had prep in those areas, I think. The fish thing? And I didn’t remember eukaryote operons…
It was awful too, I had nothing to write for ten minutes, so I just sat there and felt inadequate while everyone scribbled away.

I felt the MC was somewhat challenging, but the essays were fine.

I definitely agree. I studied embryology and the immune system, and so much of the stupid thing was interpreting data.

mc was relatively easy
frq i thought was more challenging but still ok
although i had to bs some stuff and probably some parts wrong

i learned quite young that you have to spit bull **** often throughout your life, those essays were no exception

Ithought it was a rather weird test. It focused on certain things too much, and didn’t cover the entire spectrum of the class well enough. I had a pretty hard time with some of it, but still, I don’t think i missed more than 15 or so of the multiple choice and skipped none. The essays sucked, but even a 15/40 would put me at a 5.

^ agreed! The focus was skewed but i guess they shift their emphasis every year.

Am I the only the only one who thought the mc was hard? I left 15 blank…

Frq werent too bad…but I was rushed throughout it tho

Can i still hope for a 4?

Yeah! I crammed hormones and didn’t see ANY questions about them… or maybe I’m forgetting some… Anyways, I’m slightly irked. Essays were awesome MC easier than all the practice tests I took.

I felt the MC was challenging… and leaving 15 blank is fine.

This is probably taboo or something, but I want to know answers to specific questions. If any college board person is on this site and tracks me down, well, too bad.

What was frq 3, part b? everyone’s talking about it…phylogeny, I remember that. Unless I’m thinking of a different one.

And what are two variables in that fish experiment?

Also, in multiple choice, it talked about ways cancer cells could be created. The one which was wrong- was that the virus one?

Screw how I did…I want to know what I missed.

essays were very easy but i felt like i had to write down a lot of BS for some parts but still think overall im looking at a 34 or so outta 40

mc…not so much…
8 or so blank and like 20-30 guesses really bombed it! :(

Yeah, i think there might have been only one question on mitosis stages too, and it wasnt really even one if i remember correctly. Thats kinda an important topic right?

So much emphasis on animals this year.
Barely any meiosis/mitosis. >.<

ewakama, the 2 variables could be anything that can be considered confounding variables, use your imagination

Alright…so osmolarity of the water, and mass of the fish? Haha…I really felt like I was ********ting that part, but a lot of people are very confident about the essays so I would like to know what they put. What did you put, solidsnake?

I would wait for 48 hours to discuss specifics.

The second FRQ was tough and I think I got the majority of the mc correct
