A lot of you are taking the BC exam next month, and I thought I would make a thread for you to post questions/answers (I will be doing the same myself). :)

haha yay!!!
i hate bc tho. any suggestions on a good prep book?

Yeah, I am using Barron's now. However, I heard that only a portion of the topics covered in Barron's are actually on the exam (same with the Math IIc book), so at this point, you may want to get one that is a bit more "practical." By the way, have you completed all the topics and just want to review or are you still finishing up?

well i'm taking the class right now so we're still learning new stuff. but i think we're being close to done. i haven't really started studying myself tho. kinda screwed.:(

We are reviewing for the ap test now, and we just took the 1998 released exam and we are doing the 2001 one this sunday. If your teachers have past released exams I think that would be a good guide as to what is/isn't on the exam and what to study.

I have the Barron's (although I'm doing the AB)...did the writers like, skip the course entitled 'Writing in a clear, lucid fashion 101' in college? They go to enormous lengths to sound erudite and complicated.

Listen to this:

I havne't learned much all year. I know the basics to intermediates of derivatives while integrals are completely alien to me. I am taking AP Calculus BC in May. If I start studying right now, can I pull off at least a 4? What should I use to do it?

There is no way you can pull off a 4 without knowing integrals. Get a review book and check out the material for yourself.

I took AB last year and made a 5. I left the slopefield FR blank, so obviously I knew the rest of the material well.

I am doing the BC exam this year, just kinda brushing up and covering the rest of the stuff. I am going to start going through Barrons again and I have a stack of old BC Free Response questions a mile high that I probably should work on. The only topic I haven't completely finished is stupid series and sequences. They are so hard.

Is my class far behind? we are doing convergence/divergence tests and reviewing at night sessions with practice books...first year it has been offered at my school and definitely worried...

Did your class study logistic curves? It was a surprise on the 2004 BC exam.

yeah im finishing up vectors and polar calculus...not too bad

i just have to remember to remember the basic stuff
