@EveningSwan The error for series what we would be doing in a FRQ would be evaluating the next term with z instead of x. Z is whatever would produce the highest answer.
@Frigidcold: I did pretty decently on the MC and answered most of the free response. I’m hoping for a 4 but I’ll most likely get a 3. At least on AP Calc I’m sure I’ll get a 5 because I’ve always been more of a mathy person anyways. How did you do?
@EveningSwan The error is less than the first dropped term. A little more complicated for Lagrange, if you want to look it up.
@JuicyMango Was pretty confident I would get a 5, score pretty consistently around 90%. But I think I messed up several free response, so now I’m kind of scared I might get a 4. Probably going to take 7-8 tests next year, not looking forward to a retake.
@Frigidcold Yeah, most tests I’ve seen had “Prove that the error is less than x” So by evaluating a higher error and showing it’s less, it proves that the actual error would be within bounds
@Kazoo98 What tests have you seen them on? My teacher gave us the 2003 and 2008 mc and some FRQs from previous years and we haven’t seen any.
@Frigidcold really dude? You would retake because you got a 4?
@EveningSwan Check every test, last question.
@EveningSwan 2011 #6 d I remember more, but then again, my teacher printed packets from 1998.
@APScholar18 Yeah, I would. How’d you do?
@APScholar18: I would retake if I got a 4 on AP Chem also. It really depends on your major, so since I’m planning to major in chemistry I should probably get a 5 for my sake as well so I know that I can comfortably skip general chem in college.
Any last minute advice?
@frigidcold I probably got a 4 but it’s just one exam a 4 doesn’t kill you. @JuicyMango do you plan to be a doctor?
@wcao9311 When you have no idea what an answer is or could be on a multiple choice, determine the wrongest and simplest method you can apply. Get an answer. Cross that out.
@APScholar18 I know, I still want a 5
@Frigidcold where do you want to go to college.
@APScholar18: Yeah, that’s the plan. That’s why the only AP test that really matters to me is chemistry, so if I mess that up it wouldn’t be good for my future plans :/.
btw if anyone has any questions you can ask me because I think I got calculus down
@APScholar18 Still a sophomore, haven’t looked too much. But, John Hopkins, Northwestern, Duke. Somewhere like that. Might settle for a full ride though.
@JuicyMango Could you review cross sections? I have a little trouble visualizing.
