I thought 3 sig figs were fine?

I’m really nervous and my dad is making it worse. He wants me to do the practice exams in the Princeton Review Book 2013 even though the test format has been changed and I’ve already taken like 2-3 practice tests. I also have English hw to do so I’m just going to quit reviewing Chem now I guess.

@xxx123456xxx Definitely. If you get a one, you will be ostracized by society and forced to live in the middle of the desert due to your incompetence. Even McDonald’s will shun you. You will have to find water in the cacti and hunt rabbits in order to survive. Most likely, you’ll die.

@NIGHTLOCK are you serious? Because I’m not sure–I don’t want my admissions rescinded :(.

I’m jk ofc. AP scores don’t matter in rescindences. It’s either grades or misconduct (like killing someone lol).

good night, and good luck

@NIGHTLOCK oh okay, thank you :). Then I’ll try not to stress so much over it now and hope that I get a 3.

From Collegeboard website:
“Is it Significant?
Review and consistently apply rules for significant figures, and avoid rounding off before the final answer. (Round calculations to appropriate significant figures at the end of the problem.)”
If you don’t know the rules if you add or subtract make sure you have the same number of decimals as the number with the fewest decimals. If you multiply or divide make sure you have the same number of sig figs as your number with fewest number of sig figs. Keep in mind numbers from stoichiometry do not apply to sig figs.

Night and good luck guys!

Good luck!! whoever’s trying to study right now, just don’t…sleep is better knowledge than cramming rn hahah lets do thisssss

raise your ap scores ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ

do we have to know gravimetric analysis

is this for the us ap chem? Because I already took the test today in international .

yah but we all have different tests i think, depending on time zone

@nicoleryoo What did you think of it? Was it similar to what you prepared for?

btw nothing specific or we are all screwed
