**OFFICIAL** AP Chemistry 2014 Thread

Yeahh I wanna know… im so scared cuz I didnt have enough time for the frqs

Okay good I wasn’t the only one on a time crunch

Do y think 60+% will be a4??

I took AP Bio last year and I personally think that the exam was easier than that one in terms of the “redesigned” format but who am I to talk I’m just hoping for a 3.

@DMAzai‌ I agree. There was a ton of laboratory chemistry and you really needed to have a well-rounded basis of what was going on. I, however, hadn’t the slightest clue except for the first part of question 1 and a couple of others.

@axlintz please all don’t feed this ■■■■■…

I do agree that the test was fair and that the application and higher level thinking really separate the men/women from the boys/girls. The multiple choice wasn’t bad. There are some I’m sure I made dumb mistakes on and a few I blindly guessed (or narrowed down and guessed). FRQ’s were hard but I at least got parts of each question…I hope. Hoping the curve is generous and I still have a chance for a 5 but I’d be happy with a 4.

I think I rocked the MC.

FRQ, #7 I answered one part, and I left half of like 5 blank. Everything else I think I did really good, hoping for a 5!

As someone who took last years exam I thought it was significantly easier. Chem has only gotten easier imo.

Do the different forms (D vs. O vs. C) have different scales???

Are the different forms completely different tests? Or are they the same problems in different orders?

Oh and also, since this is my first time taking an AP exam, when we get our scores, do we only receive a number (like 1-5) or will there be an analysis of how we did on the MC and FRQ?

So glad that everyone else thought the FRQ section was hard. I worked all the way up to the end.

Accordijg to my teacher the curve changes depending on the previous exam.

Form O but a big D in my ass.

I believe there are different forms, same questions, different orders. Either way, the three FRQ’s at the beginning are supposed to take 20 minutes and the other 4 7-10. So why did I feel like I could have used the full hour and a half for the first three? Gahhh. First AP test ever did not make me feel confident at all

I think the forms are all different. At least the frq’s are. My friend had C and I had O and our frq’s weren’t the same at all. Of course we both thought the other had the easier form lol

Which previous exam?

One of my friends had an FRQ about diamonds (?) and my frq had that horrible half-life question for #7

hey guys <a href=“Live video chat rooms, simple and easy. - Tinychat”>Live video chat rooms, simple and easy. - Tinychat;

lets discuss how we felt about the exam

So if the different forms had different questions, are there different scales too?
