Did anyone do the teacher-secured practice test the AP teachers got? I found a lot of the questions on that practice test were -incredibly- similar to the test. To the point of being near copies.

For the first question what did you get for percent by mass I-

It was in the 40% range. @acttest

Damn not what i got

What was the precipitate

Lead plus iodine equals ppt

I’ve copied every homework assignment and lab since Christmas and completely forgot to study. You guys think I can pull out the 3? :)

I thought the answer had to be 76%. How did you get 40%

Find mass of Iodine. Divide it by mass of tablet and poof. You get answer.

Where the hell did 76% come from?

It’s definitely in the high 30s i believe for % iodide. Was the rate constant just .00693 s^-1?

@dopecake That FRQ didn’t have to do anything with Rate constants…

And you found the mass from what was produced in the precipitate?

wait, what was the net ionic equation for the first one. I thought the overall reaction was like KI + Pb(NO3)2 yields
KNO3 and PbI, not having everything balanced…

so the ppt was pbi2

Shoot. I got something like 30% I-
Form O: I thought the Multiple Choice was really straight-forward, but I bombed the FRQs because I ran out of time. I left 6 mostly blank, and did half of 7. How do ya think that’s gonna hurt? Guess we’ll all find out in July. Cue impatient waiting.

Was part b of q7 not to find the value of k with units?

@dopecake diff test.

mass of iodine was like .2 something. idk

I didn’t put units also for part b of 7… I don’t remember if the question asked for units but now I’m regretting not putting units. Also for FRQ 1 I got 29% pretty much 30% although there was a discrepancy between 30% and 70% in the google doc

I thought KI must be 76% I- according to the molar masses. Law of definite proportions

There are different tests so that’s why there is a discrepnancy.

How many points were #4-7 on Section 2 of Form O worth?
