what would 57/75 multiple choice and pretty good free response but only a few points on q2 be? i thought i did well on that q but ****

MC was harder than normal thouigh not bad. Part A was um… what. Part B wasn’t too bad. The reactions were AWESOME.

@did that would be a four. if you did better then what you think than it’s a five.

No that could be a 5. You really only need 100/150 to get a 5

The MC was fine, pretty typical I thought. Part A sucked… I had no idea what I was doing for a lot of it which is unusual because I usually feel somewhat confident in most of my answers… The net ionics were heaven. The free response overll, thouh, was hard. I know for sure I didn’t make a 5.

@superstar however he only mentioned q2 and a few points would not be 100/150

One quick question: does carbonic acid dissociate?

The answer was CO2 + H20 => H2CO3

I think

I sadi it yields H+ and HCO3- cause it will eventually dissociate

I never seen.that question…

Guys, aren’t we absolutely not supposed to be talking about the mc and free response questions? Not that you’re going to get caught, but this is a pubic forum, so it’s probably better to not discuss anything until two days later. Just saying.

Please, CollegeBoard should worry about the SAT forums more than the AP forums. Last year for APES and Psych we already had all the FRQs discussed by this time.

@Niquii How do you think you did? :(

It…was…interesting.

I finished a great deal of the FRQ but I skipped four letters. :S MC went strangely well and that worries me a little.

You?? How’s you feel about those calorimeter problems??

How difficult would you rate the free response compared to any practice tests you did and do you think your confidence in how well you will score went up or down after testing?

Personally, I felt like the MC was pretty typical (maybe a little on the easy side) but certain parts of the Free Response gave me troubles. I just blanked out on some material that I had assumed would not be on the exam, and that may AP teacher didn’t touch/mention during our last two weeks of review.

HurryUpJuly

I see… Because you’re my point of reference for “person most likely to get a 5,” so if YOU thought it was hard, it definitely wasn’t just me. Ehh. I thought the MC was fine for the most part, but from what I’ve heard, I made some mistakes. I’m a terrible guesser omg. FRQ’s were hard, though. The net ionics were amazing, thank god! I was kind of nervous about that but they were all doable. The other stuff though? Nooo sir… The calorimeter one was pretty bad, but they were all pretty bad. For some reason, time went by WAY faster than it ever did during practice tests, which made me leave some stuff blank, ugh. I really wish I’d written something down for every part. That’s my biggest regret. The thing about free response that most annoyed me, though, is that it was all the stuff I was looking for/wanted (ksp, kinetics, electrochem, thermo) but in some weird format that wasn’t typical and that threw me off. It was HARD!!! And what’s even more weird is that the stuff I DIDN’T want (IMF) was the stuff I got for sure. The rest I may have BS-ed a little (the explanations/using some random numbers). But the IMF on the last question? I actually got that down. And IMF is the stuff I NEVER got on the practice tests!! This test was all backwards. I just want a 4 at this point.

yay it’s over!
I thought the multiple choice was pretty easy
The free response was a little tricky but not as hard as I expected
I really hope I get a 5, I can’t wait for July

I am ecstatic for July. & Right now trying to focus on my next AP Tests. it’s game time

The FRQ was killer! The MC was nice though. I suppose it evened out…
