I said opera house, poultry, and warehouses/housing projects for those three.

See, I actually put pizza parlors, which sounds ridiculous, I know, but I had reasoning! There seemed just waaay too many dots for it to be steel mills. And it said something about pizza parlors “of a national chain” which I thought meant like Pizza Hut or something which could work, conceivably, since so many more dots were located in urban areas. By that map, we’d have steel mills all over the place, like a dozen in every state, which didn’t seem right to me since (with the level of huge corporate industrialization we have now) you’d think there’d be more consolidation into larger, more scattered mills. Plus there were concentrations in New York and Chicago, the pizza capitals!

Meh. Maybe I just really passionately want the answer to a standardized test to be “pizza.”

I also wrote three pages about how shifting cultivation was the rotation of crops rather than rotating from field to field. I got the definition of subsistence agriculture right, at least, but probably nothing else on that one. sigh

I think I pulled off most of FRQ 1 (though I BS’d the third wall and said the fences around concentration camps in WWII… >_>) and FRQ 3 though. I only knew it was the Netherlands because I’m in WHAP too and we’ve been studying how Germany went through Belgium to get to France. Yay subject integration!

I said opera house for that one but was pretty iffy. And I also said poultry for the picture of the long buildings.

Was the answer for one of them ‘Turkey’? What was the answer with the one of the pediatrician?

Yeah, I said opera house just because itd mainly be found in larger cities but who knows

Yeah I put opera house too. Since that is the most “special” XD

What is this pediatrician we’re talking about?

What’s the most popular religion in the North Dakota region? I think I went with Lutheran because of German settlers but I was sort of just going for it haha.

It was definitely Lutheran, I googled it when i got home. Missed that one, oh well. Anyone remember the question about peripheral cities and imports?

Also, what was the reason Hinduism wasn’t spreading? I said because they weren’t recruiting new members.

Yeah, it was Lutheran.

Yeah I put Lutheran too!! I remembered that because of that '70s show!!! LOL!

And yes, it was because it was not “actively looking for converts”

YAY!!! Haha that was one where i had two answers that both looked really good (hate when that happens), but I ended up going with that one.

Ahhh yeah that was the wording, thanks moose! Recruiting new members didn’t sound very good loll. You can tell my brain is pretty fried after two weeks of AP testing.

Ohhh remembered another question! What was the answer to the picture of a temple? It asked where it would most likely be found. I put Asia but wasn’t sure.

What about the Tanzania railroad one…?

Lol… But now it’s all over !!! WOOT WOOT!

I said Eastern Europe.

I put Asia, couldn’t decide between that and eastern Europe…

For the Tanzania one I put to transport raw goods to ports for export. That seemed like the most logical answer choice because all the tracks ended at waterfront cities.
