***Official AP Human Geography Thread 2014-2015***

FRQ were a joke, got at least a 90% on them
Multiple choice was a guessing game probably got like a 40%
Would a 65% be a 4?

FRQs seemed way too easy. At least 80% right. Multiple choice around 70%. APPass says I’ll make a 5, even with the absolute lowest values I might have gotten.

I was honestly scared going into the test that I might get a three. This is probably one of the only tests where I’ve felt more confident coming in than out. I think we got lucky this year, but that means that the curve will not be as high. :-SS

rip in peace multiple choice
i slayed those FRQs tho, had enough time leftover to write a fanfiction about Thomas Malthus x Carl Sauer

That was actually a really easy test. MC was a bit harder than I expected, but I still am confident I got >60 correct.

FRQs were a joke, though lol–they were on the units which I found to be easiest and skipped in PR. I was expecting something on population or central place theory. I’m pretty confident I made a 5, definitely a 4.

Hope you guys did well! Can’t wait for AP Stats and AP World next year!

Test was really easy. i’m really glad to end up this years ap weeks with a solid 5. I’m surprised I actually remembered Gerrymandering as the phenomenon.

I think I got at least 55 multiple choice right and the FRQs were really easy! Thank goodness this wasn’t that hard.

the frqs were such a gift lol i had to get at least 90% on them.
mc was a little harder than expected and due to bad pacing i ended up having to rush for several questions at the end, but overall not bad. got at least a 4, hopefully a 5

I probably got 45-55/75 on the MC, and 100% on the FRQs.
I’m concerned that the curve isn’t going to be that good. The FRQs were really easy, so most people should’ve gotten them. If the curve is right where it normally is I got a 5 but if it goes up to 75% or so I may have scored a 4.

@ypmagic Idk but I really hope it is too ;n; Tbh I think anyone could have answered these FRQs, regardless if they took the class or not.

the phenomena was gerrymandering right?

Did you guys explain your political, environmental, and social reasons thoroughly?

I think so.

i did and i added an example for each one.

Waiting for them to release the FRQs online ;n; I wanna see if I have a chance at a 5!

I was glad this was the last exam…makes me feel better about the others lol

I also did but the examples weren’t the best… hopefully I still get most if not full points

they’re up

Does not being able to afford increasing land prices for immigration count as environmental?

Would colonization be a good historical example of how English spread? :s For the modern ones I put the Internet and trade.

I messed up the definition of a lingua franca xd I said it was a business language…

Oh, and for the census thing, I said people would look at census statistics (like religion or race) and do gerrymandering based off of that. Does that make any sense?

@Gatortristan I don’t really see the connection, can you try explaining it a bit?
