I made a new account since I figured the issue was my name not matching. It worked.

Psych: 4
Comp. Gov: 1 (Expected)

I had the same teacher for both courses and he didn’t teach a thing. I read the Barron’s book 2 wks before the exam. It was impossible to find a Comparative Gov review book and the only edition of Wood I could find online didn’t have all the countries. So I went in ready to bomb Gov, as did my whole class, but when I finished Psych, I felt really good about it. So I’m really happy with that 4 :)

Bio - 4 - pretty happy with this considering that I wasn’t taught much in class and basically had to self-study… and didn’t do much of that anyways.
Lit - 5 - Yaaaay! Expected.
US - 3 - Definitely not good. I was so unprepared. The worst part is that I actually love the class and my teacher is really good, so the fault is all mine. No clue what went wrong - perhaps I simply didn’t study enough. US is definitely one of those classes where you can’t just “be good at standardized tests”. Gotta know those facts!

Biology:4 - Thought I’d get a 2 or something after reading the distribution and hey English is not even my first language! (had a very hard time memorizing all those biology conceptions)
Calculus BC: 5 (AB sub:5 ) - Expected. Math is my thing.
Physics B: 5 - Thought the test was pretty easy.
I know this is not much but I’m really happy about it. (weeping) yay!

I self-studied for two weeks before the test (like…2 hours a day) because I’m an international student and obviously my school offers none of those AP courses.
Also, I got a really bad cold back in May so I basically just kept blowing my nose and coughing during the test. Guess I annoyed all the other test takers in the same room and I’m really grateful for not being kicked out of the room or something.

For anyone who is wondering if it is possible to self-study AP biology…Well it definitely is because I just went through the Cliff notes and marked down what I didn’t learn in my class. (which is a lot) And I had a lot of trouble studying for the test because of the language barrier. I feel like brain-fried during the FRQ part and I know absolutely nothing about the chi square thing.(I did pretty well in multiple choice part though)

Spanish Lang: 5 (I’m really confused. I was actually expecting a 2 on this. I have no clue what happened.)
BC Calc: 5 (AB subscore 5)
English Lang: 5 (Sort of surprised. The first time I wrote the synthesis essay was on the AP Lang test itself. >.<)
Biology: 5 (Thought I was going to get a 4, based on the tough curve everyone was talking about.)
US Gov: 5
Comparative Gov: 5

I’m actually rather surprised because I was too burnt out by the end of junior year to study for AP tests. I was expecting a slew of 4s. I guess my classes prepared me really well! ^^

I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t surprised and realllllyyyy happy over my scores. Honestly, I think I might have gotten lucky on mechanics and euro.

Too bad colleges don’t look at them more for admissions. But I guess that isn’t really fair for kids whose schools don’t offer as many AP’s.

Physics B -5
APUSH -5 (I laughed when I saw the DBQ…I had so much fun taking the test…I would flip if I got a 4…cuz my essays were 5 material)
Chem - 4 (expected it…test was WEIRD…its good enough though)
English Lit -3 (SO ANGRY! Kinda expected it though cuz i was TOTALLY out of it the day of the exam, but all the other mock exams I took, I got 5s…so this sucks…but watevs)

Now I gotta get ready for next year…4-6 APs depending on my schedule…now that I’ve gotten a year of APs my junior year under my belt, I’m actually excited for senior year!!

AP Calc AB- 5 (my teacher was really great we started exam review in march!)
AP English Language- 5 (unexpected but super happy about it!)
AP US History-5
AP Stat- 5
AP Chem- 4 (this is seriously a miracle! I was positive I got a 2 so the curve must have been good)
AP Environmental- 4 (I taught myself this in a week by reading the Kaplan review book so I’m pretty happy about this one too!)
