What was question 6 about?

Getting ready to take it

It was such a hard test in India.
I was getting 34-36 on PR test, previous year test MCQs and all.
But the real one was pretty much screwed up.
Still just might manage to cross the 65% mark lets see.

I thought the test was strangely easy… i didnt realizethat they told you to plot the point on the part six graph…dumb mistake. Though i didnt understand the histogram either. Does anyone know how many you usually need to get correct in order to get a 5?

I messed up so bad on the frq

That exam was easy… the kind of easy that I either did really well or I got everything wrong… 0.o

MC were pretty easy, FRQ I kinda lost it but should still be enough for a 5 thanks to the easiness of question 6

What was the mean and SD of the individual egg?

Didnt realize until two seconds after the test ended that one of the FRQs was CHI SQUARE TOI TEST, so i got a zero on that free response. I’m sure I got a 4 and was right below the cutoff line for a 5…TT_TT
Also forgot to plot the point on the investigative task xD

No, I though you would do 1/12 of the mean total minus the mean carton weights, mean is 68.333 in an extremely large population. SD for me was .6429

(1/12) squared times variance of total minus variance of carton. Take the square root of that entire thing and you get .6429.

Mc was easy. I prob got 32/40. I think I fked up #1 and accidentally calculated the wrong critical score. Had no idea what to do with the histogram on #5. #6 was a complete joke. Overall it was pretty good. Teacher didn’t cover everything. We skimp regression t-tests and all of its variants and didn’t went over chi-square at all. But overall. I thought it was really easy. I find allotted time for both the MC and FRQ way to generous. Prob got a 4/5.

The fruit and vegetable one was chi-square?

And I thought you’re suppose to add the variants and divide by 12.

did u guys get 8.983 for your chi-square value, and since thats greater than 5.99 you rejected the null

Yes for the chi-square

are you sure we are allowed to talk about the questions here? I thought we had to wait 48 hours…

^I got the same chi-squared value, but the p-value was 0.01, so you could safely reject the null hypothesis.

I mainly got on this thread to post about the stupid typo on question 5 (the meditation vs non-meditation question).
In the histogram they gave, the x-axis was scaled like: -0.4, -0.34, -0.17, -0.20, 0.13
What the hell??? How is -0.17 to the left of -0.20… This screwed me over so bad… It was obviously a mistake but I didn’t know what they intended originally, so I basically called them out on the typo and switched the two frequencies so it ended up being right-skewed, and I answered it from there… It was surprising that an AP Test could have a typo like that lol

Yes it was chi square toi,
but i think everone fcked thAT one up, including me, COMPLETELY got a ZERO on that

no, the chi squared question was EASY. the only hard part of the exam was 1 or 2 multiple choice. I was struggling figuring out the probability of getting the same color marble (or whatever it was) twice for some reason and I know the solution is incredibly simple and maybe one other question but I thought the FRQ was absurdly easy, especially the investigative task.

You shouldve based it off the pvalue which I dont specifically remember but it was between .05 and .10 so i only said there was some evidence to reject the null.

hahah yeah two secs after the test i realized how easy it was, ecept i ran out of time, so i didnt have time to calculate all the expected stuff, and whats up with that one histogram?? i was so confused on that one
