@apkid3: yeah
@LeggoMyEggos: the only formula i can think of off the top of my head is the mean of a geometric distribution (just 1/p) sorry in advance if there are a bunch more lol

you can try this one

^ thanks misternohnoh

Its not that you were being sarcastic, it’s that your own information was wrong. No big deal. But if I had something that was likely going to be a major topic on the test completely wrong I would want someone to tell me.

np Luminiz lets all get 5’s tomorrow lol

My teacher has all of the tests’ formulas into a chart. I believe it’s the “Test for Means Chart.doc” Thought it might help.

@ephemeralbliss thanks that’s actually quite useful! Esp the null and alt. hypothesis for each because I always forget about those haha

And to everyone else: what’s harder generally for you guys, the FRQs or the MC? I just took the 2007 MC choice exam to review but I was also thinking of doing a few FRQs from last year. Out of the two sections, which part do people usually score the most points on?

I think the FRQs are harder for me since you have to remember what to put and show all of your work. Plus I’m not really sure how I’ll do with the given time restraint.

exact same opinion as ephemeralbliss
usually like 36/40 on MC and 20/24 on FRQ

I can’t figure out how to do any of the tests on my calculator

^^ HAHAHAHAHAHAhahaha

… wait. serious?

Yeah…I got a used Hewlett Packard 49G+ Graphing Calculator
I’m dead

Just back from stats in China.
I swear to God I’ve never seen anything like Q6.

^that’s not good

Anyhow good luck to everyone today.

Oh god. That bodes badly… D:

I’m just gonna pretend you meant that you’ve never seen anything so easy :)

The curve is very lenient and we should all do fine. 30/40 on MC and 16/24 on FR should get you a 5. Of course, I’m sure anyone with half a brain can get 34+ on MC and 20+ on FR

not sure if we all had the same Qs… there were a lot of Ds on the MCs right? from 26 onwards i had a lot… and i mean a lot of Ds…

anyways no spoilers here… i’ll try… question 6… p value>0.05/frequency

magmar, where are you right now, im in India and i got a lot of d’s at the end also, question 6 was hard tho
