I don’t know if one’s been made or not yet…

So what book are you guys going to use to prep for the AP exam?

I don’t know if one’s been made or not yet…

So what book are you guys going to use to prep for the AP exam?

I’m using PR. I heard its the best one for this subject

I’m using REA’s Crash Course book to self study. Do you guys think that taking notes on each chapter is ideal, or reading through some chapters is enough for retention?

i’m taking it at school, but I’m not sure which book to get, because everyone always has different opinions. you prob should take notes on every chapter

K, thanks.

I’m using PR. Is REA Crash Course good for this? It saved me on the APUSH last year.

I think it is-at least so far. I like the principle of not overstudying and only studying what you need to know. It saves so much time.

What about an in-class supplement? How/when should I use that? which one is the best for that?

^ I’ve been wondering the same thing. I want to save PR for the exam review but I also want a book to help me with the actual class.

Are you guys just buying your books from amazon or is there another website you use?

I buy mine off Amazon.

What year is the book you guys are using?

I heard REA’s Crash Course is the best book to use. Do you guys have any sites to help you with AP Government?! I have the 12th edition book.

I bought Crash Course so far. I might purchase PR if needed, but Larry Krieger is excellent. He helped me score fives on APUSH and AP Euro last year, so I definitely trust him again. :)

This class is a huge blowoff at my school…

Hey guys! I took the AP US Gov exam in May and got a 5, so if you have any questions, i’d be happy to answer them.

Taking AP Gov in school this year, haven’t even thought about review books yet.

Do people actually study for this exam? I’m taking the class now, and it is so easy. This class really cover content that every informed citizen should know by the time they are in high school.

i got 5 steps to a 5.

For those of you who are taking the class and started school already, how’s it going?

To be honest, I haven’t really thought about it yet what book I’ll get. I’ll make that choice, or at least think about it, after winter break.
