Guys I’m Scared as *****. I feel like the MC did in NO WAY fully represent what I actually knew about American History. NO FOUNDING FATHERS, NO RECONSTRUCTION, && The Questions Themselves Were So Freaking Confusing. I Normally Get 68/80 On Practice Tests, & Due To Today’s Confusion, I’m banking on scoring in the mid 50’s. The DBQ Was A Good Topic, But I Think I Got Confused, && Blended A Lot Of The 3 Different Things, I Gave A Great Deal Of Outside Info Though, && Used 9 Out Of The Ten Documents. The Most Confident Part Of The Test For Me Were The FRQ’s…I Wrote Solid Essays For Questions 3 & 4. DO Y’all Think I Could Still Pull Of A 5? Like Any Chance?

Mark, enter what you think could have been the lowest you scored on the essays to [AP Pass - AP Us Calculator](AP U.S. History Test Score Calculator - AP Pass) and it would tell you what grade you might recieve

Merz, don’t worry about ‘not using’ the documents. My teacher specifically told us not to ever cite or quote the documents. You should synthesize the documents and use them as part of your argument. If you did that, you should get a high score.

If you didn’t even touch on compare, you will lose some points for that but I couldn’t say how many.

If you want to guestimate your score, here are two methods of doing so:

From CB (<a href=“Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board):%5B/url%5D”>Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board):
<a href=“Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board”>Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board;
From an outside source that has been pretty good at predicting scores ([AP Pass - AP Test Calculators, Study Guides, and Resources](<a href=“AP Pass - AP Score Calculators, Study Guides, and Resources):%5DAP”>AP Pass - AP Score Calculators, Study Guides, and Resources) ):
[AP Pass - AP Us Calculator](AP U.S. History Test Score Calculator - AP Pass)

what do you guys think the curve will be for a 5? Will it be the typical 111 on the AP Calculator, harsher, or easier

Oh wow, I’m totally blanking, for what question did we need to compare and contrast?

MC: Prob 55/80, knowing me. But it seemed WAY easy.

DBQ: SLAUGHTERED. I wrote 5 pages on it, and my handwriting is small-medium, more on the small side. Very balanced, but I had about 6 docs. That’ll probably enough, though. No, I killed this thing.

FRQ #3: Probably got a 6. Wasn’t too comfortable with this era. Whatever. Wrote 2 pages.

FRQ #4: Annihilated beyond all means. Wrote 4 freaking pages!

My only problem is that I referenced some events that happened a few years after an event. But barely. I tied everything together, and my conclusions were BOSS. Okay, frankly, the essays I wrote were great (except for #3, which sucked). If I don’t get a 5, I will be very surprised.

Also shocked that they had 3 forms!

@Mark I totally agree about the MC^ The questions were just not good questions… They hit random facts that don’t matter nearly as much as other important concepts/themes…

I mean c’mon, no founding fathers!? >…<

GUYS SERIOUSLY, SERIOUSLY, THE DBQ WAS L-I-T-E-R-A-L-L-Y MY JUNIOR RESEARCH PAPER. http://■■■■■■/IOFZ4v

Sorry but I was freaking out while I was reading for 15 min.

I literally started laughing when I saw the DBQ because I was so happy. lmao

Only thing is: I FREAKIN SAID ANDREW WAS PART OF THE SOCIAL GOSPEL INSTEAD OF GOSPEL OF WEALTH

efgwrgergbewrgbw

Got it wrong on the MC and the essay

Going into this test, I was praying that the essays wouldn’t ruin me.

Leaving the test, I was praying that the essays would save my horrid multiple choice score.

Hahaha same^

I third that ^^

Would incorporating all of the documents and including at least 5 pieces of outside info give me a 7?

@stacy121, yeah it would, but I wouldn’t have used all of the documents. 1/2 +1 is the key! Just be able to recognize sources that are hidden key terms like Samuel Gompers>AFL and whatnot.
I don’t know why everyone is saying how they wrote so much D:, I think I did pretty good with 3 pages and a half for dbq and 2 and a half for frqs.
Multiple choice was okay, i didn’t like the questions past Reagan . .

Going into this test, I was praying that the essays wouldn’t ruin me.

Leaving the test, I was praying that the essays would save my horrid multiple choice score.
^^Ditto.

Multiple Choice: I feel kind of iffy on it, there were like 20 where I was like “I know this for sure”, but with around 5 minutes left I had around 20 left, so I made quick, educated guesses.
DBQ: Was a joke. I used this website and Google to predict the DBQ was based around the Gilded Age/Progressivism. I used 6 documents, wrote 4 pages, and hopefully got between a 7 and 9.
FRQ 1: chose essay 2, probably should’ve chosen 3. This was about 3 pages, but I feel like my intro was strongest. I barely touched upon the main points, but did my best to cover all the information I could remember. Hopefully I got at least a 5 or 6.
FRQ 2: chose essay 4, it was BRUTAL. I suck at this time period, but couldn’t do 5 as I wasn’t familiar with two of the three choices. For my essay, I wrote 2 pages and stressed some groups, and stressed the aftermath of the THINGS. Hopefully got a 5 or 6. (remember, we can’t post about the prompts for 48 hours) :p

I’m a junior, so this is my first AP test. Could I get around a 4 or 5 based on my information given? I do not know the curve that well.

id be shocked if got anything lower than a 65 on the mc. i did average on the essays probably 7 on dbq, 6 of #3, and 5 on #5 since i started running out of time and my paragraph about similarities was rather shorter than a usual paragraph

I almost cried when I got the DBQ question because it was one of the only two DBQ’s we’ve actually done in my APUSH class… :’)

What is the curve like for the exam? Since the DBQ was easy, and the essays weren’t too bad, will the curve be lower or higher?

im guessing it won’t change too much. curves never drop/climb dramatically and the CB makes it so that the distribution stays relatively constant. The DBD was easy but a lot of people (including myself) didn’t like the MC. I think that it’ll remain around 111. Maybe 112 or 113 for a 5
