Sorry if that sounds dumb, I committed to Princeton early this year to row crew and my counselor wanted me to take higher level classes to get myself up to their academic standards

@HoldenMcGroin Radio. :/

@capitalamerica phew! at least I got one right!

@HoldenMcGroin Princeton is hard… but rowing is cool :p

@APmaster007 I used all ten documents, and I think I included an abundance of outside. I usually use the documents just to cite the specific speeches and supplement my outside information.

@Alec481997 So Ive heard. Im nervous but my parents wouldn’t let me turn it down. Sorry for the distraction, lets try to keep this thread history related

did the essay about the whigs and the democrats, but I don’t know how I did. I said how the democrats didn’t want the goveerment to have a huge role because of the second bank and the high tarrifs. And I said that the whigs were the opposite. Then I said that the whigs and democrats wanted expansion, but for different reasons. The demcrates wanted more land for farming, while the whigs wanted to expand industrialization to the west. I used people like Henry Clay and Jackson.

So what do you guys think i will get on it?

MC was pretty easy. I don’t think I missed more than 20. For FRQs (2/4), I’m predicting a 7, 3, 5.

3 and 5. Almost verbatim what APmaster wrote for 3. For 5, it was repeal of 60’s and 70’s social reform like ERA, affirmative action, Roe, smaller government (welfare), lower taxes, larger defense, and kicking commie butt. Reagan did most of that.

@Buggie111 If putting it that way allows you to get to sleep at night then god bless you

I did 3 and 4, (but everyone else I know did 2 and 4) because it made the most sense to me. I think my DBQ was alright…is it okay to write in the margins of the essay? I had some time to spare and I injected a bunch of facts/expounded on a lot of stuff.
I hope they won’t take off points for that…I did that a lot throughout the essays.

Sleep at night? Man, are you paranoid or something? CollegeBoard isn’t the NSA. Plus, it’ll all be legal in a few days.

No, they won’t, if you drew arrows linking the stuff.

Hey calm down man, he’s allowed I say what he wants.
In terms of the blacks post-Reconstruction, I basically said it was all a failure except for the bit of hope provided from the Freedmans Bureau.

Whata Y’all think?

I’m inbetween Princeton and Uconn for football next year. UConn’s team is better but Princetons academics are better I hear.

What should I do

Don’t none if y’all patronize me neither, I’m intelligent, I took an AP class this year, US history

@mingeh if I were you I would go to Princeton. Please however do try to keep the discussion relevant to APUSH.

@pidude we were, we were talking about @mingeh APUSHing his way into the girls basketball players

My apologies pidude, I was wondering about a MC, which thing was the last act if compromise before the civil war? I believe I said Kansa

Kansas-Nebraska Act, excuse my adolescent, novice typing skills

@mingeh It was the crittenden compromise (1860)
