Okk..everyone let's collaborate and all get 5's next Thursday...shouldn't be too hard to do.

Okey doke.

Woho. It's been two years since I took the class. But I took Euro this year and did a bit (in other words I have tons left to do) over the year.

let's a-go o.o

WAAA don't remind me. We haven't learned a thing the entire year. Can anyone point to a sight for fast review or something, dies

Yes, let's. A quick question.......would it be better to read PR (I read up to 1914 about a month ago, but I would completely re-read if recommended) or try to get through Barrons? I would definitely start by studying from 1914 on, because that's where I'm weakest. From there, it's a matter of reading PR again or reading Barrons to get more details and a different perspective.

What's the "format" for doing Point-of-views on DBQs? I took a mock essay today during class and I got a 6/7 cuz of my POVs.. my teacher said I could have gotten expanded core if I had done my POVs right. . Any help?

im pretty sure you just compare the different points of view ? and analyze each one? in 1-2 paragraphs?

After splitting them into groups and doing a bit of analysis on a few documents of each group, you can add something like "It seems that the overwhelming view of the British authors of the respective documents(example, if you split by nationality) is that the labor conditions were not of much significance because the British authors were upper class. A document from a working class factory laborer during the industrial revolution would have been very useful to add another perspective, which would have most likely been much different from the other authors." Or something like that.

No advice about the books?

i heard that the PR book is good for refreshing ur memory while the barrons goes into alot of detail...im not totally sure though. I think the practice tests at the end are pretty similar to each other, though PR seemed a bit harder. ..

i have the princeton review book its pretty good.

princeton review is good study for essays, while barrons is good study for "unnecessary" details.

I use both because the entire study guide's layouts are different. and it's nice to look at things in two different way

btw, does anyone have the sample MC of APWH from a while ago? our teacher never gave it to us? like is it easy or hard, really specific?

MC is not specific, many general questions.
check this out- this is the book we used in school this year, and the website has great notes, quizzes
